Hi all, my name is Claire and I am originally from Tasmania, Australia, currently living in south Australia with my partner. My yoga practice started about six months ago when I signed up to a gym and decided to take a class. I loved every minute of it and attended every week without fail. After a couple of weeks I realised I needed more, and so begin my morning practice. Every morning I get up, unroll my mat and let myself go into the poses. I have noticed so many improvements in my body, mentally, and emotionally. A lot of the stress that built up from work has melted away. My flexibility and strength have increased dramatically, and less things phase me. I'm much more grounded. I'm very excited because on Sunday I am embarking on a six day yoga camel trek in the beautiful Flinders Ranges in south Australia!

Hi Claire! I am so happy to hear about your progress on and off the mat! Please update us about your yoga camel trek. That's something I have never tried here in Massachusetts, USA!
Not many camels in Mass;-) Very few in Oregon as well. Sounds so exotic and fun. Anita, I grew up outside of Boston. My first yoga class was with Baron Baptiste, 19 years ago in Somerville. It's wild that 20 years have passed!Kristin of the Kate Bishop 3
Kate, I grew up in Watertown but did not have my first yoga class until I moved to the Seattle area in 1997. When I came back to MA, I couldn't believe how many yoga teachers there are!
