Addicted to Reading discussion

This is quite a fun game, and here's how to play;
Someone will say a wish then the next person that comments will grant it but with an added suprise (corruption).
For example;
#1 person: I wish I lived in a mansion with a massive library and all the books in the world.
#2 person: Granted, but the mansion is haunted and the library only has all the non-fiction books of the world.

I'll start;

I wish I had a whole room full of everything I've ever wanted.

Granted - but the room is also filled with everything that annoys you.

I wish that I had all the time in the world to read all the books I want.

*p.s I love the idea of this game*

Granted- but you're only allowed to read them in an alternative language.

I wish I could eat frozen raspberries and read all day.

Granted - but every single raspberry gives your brain freeze and you hate all the books you read.

I wish my family and I were the richest family in the world.

Granted- but you're the most unhappy family in the whole universe, every dimension and every parallel world.
(Hehe, Star Trek AND Doctor Who :D)
I wish that I could just click my fingers and all my chores would be done for me.

Granted - but you can't touch anything at all.

granted - but then you can't watch doctor who 50th anniversary.

Granted - but once you decide which way to go, you cannot go back. In other words if you go forward you can only go forward. If you go back you can only go back.

I wish that I could get paid to read the books that enjoy.

Granted but you will only get payed $0.50 an hour and you'll have to read really boring books

I wish I was a faster reader

Granted but you will read very very fast. that is, you will finish a good sized book in 1 minute and not experience all those expressions that the reader usually does.

i would definitely go back but slowly slowly and then when i reach victorian london, i'd stay there forever. :)

I wish there was a planet where only Trekkies could go. and it would be everything STAR TREK. every single thing about that planet.

Granted. But it would only have the annoying parts of Star Trek and not the parts that you love.

I wish I never have to study for another maths exam or hand in multiple English assignments at once.

Granted but you use up all your spare time studying for tests in other subjects.
I wish I could choose which subjects to show up to.

Granted but the subjects you choose suddenly have bucket loads of homework that keep you too busy to do anything else.
I wish I could read faster.

granted. you can read very very fast, but in hebrew.
i wish i had the ability to stop time and do things, then resume it.

granted. But you can only do unimportant things

I wish that everything was free.

Granted, but all the good things don't last long (like food).
I wish that if I wanted something expensive (eg; iPhone) I could just pick a percentage to take off it and if I can work it out I can have it for the new price.

Granted, but you're James Kirk's mother and you have to give birth in a spaceship while watching your husband explode.

I wish I was a countess (like Lady Grantham of Downton Abbey, except younger).
