Zombies! discussion

I'm working in my first zombie book right now, the sixth in my supersoldiers vs suoernatural series. I've never read a zombie book, but love zombie films. I'm hoping my concept hasn't been done before- someone keeps reliving the zombie apocalypse, over and over, like Groundhog Day. Does that sound familiar to anyone? I had no idea there were so many zombie books, so I hope I'm not copying something someone else has already done.

The closest thing I've read to a recycling zombie day is . It's a science fiction zombie short I really enjoyed, but definitely not overplayed in my book!
