the first ten books are really good , the last two borrow them from you local library .

I LOVE THIS BOOK ESPECIALLY THAT PART WHEN SOOKIE YELLS "GET DOWN!" AND ERIC GETS SHOT OOOO I'LL PROBOBLY READ THE SERIES AGAIN, WELL ONLY 1-10.

It isn't 'good' as in great literature, but the Sookie Stackhouse books are pretty fun to read. For when you just want to read something light and entertaining.

I enjoyed the first 9 as well, but great american literature they are not! Fun reads when you other stuff going on, personally I read them at work to pass the time but needed to have at least part of my attention elsewhere.
People are really hard on the author because that last few tanked. And I agree, the last was truly awful. But I read somewhere that Harris was under contract and perhaps she didn't want to stretch out the series for so long?
Anyhow as a previous commentor stated the first 9 or 10 are good to purchase and the others are readily available at the library!
