Lisa (lisadannatt) | 211 comments Ok, so I know it's DC, not Marvel... Are there any thoughts as to Affleck (who was not a good Daredevil) as Batman?

Travis (travishiltz) | 196 comments Yet another bad idea in a long line of bad ideas that seems designed to ensure I never get to see a JLA movie.

Not looking forward to this.

I realized that I don't have a problem with Ben Affleck in the role, but I (at least at this point) am not interested in seeing what Zach Snyder has in store...

Lisa (lisadannatt) | 211 comments I'm just not an Affleck fan. I've never enjoyed any of his movies. (Although he is a good director) He looks like he's reading his lines- much like Keanu Reeves. He won't have Christian Bale's edge as Batman.
Apparently they're incorporating Wonderwoman too, I think DC is rushing this.

Lisa (lisadannatt) | 211 comments But yet can female superheroes not be given their own title and backstory and not just be present as eye candy? A silly female hero in skanky costume upsets me way more than no female hero.
I've like the black widow so far.

I think that the first time that I saw Black Widow kicking ass in Iron Man 2 I was thinking - "They" have to give her her own movie...
I'm sure I'm not the only one

I'm not a fan of Wonder Woman (not that I dislike the character - just never read anything, etc)... but I think that if DC is going to introduce her, she should have her own movie...

Travis (travishiltz) | 196 comments I'm not sure why DC keeps dragging their feet on a Wonder Women movie, especially since the Thor movies did so well.

We are going to accept a guy with a magic hammer, but not a girl with a magic rope...?

What producer is going to hear 'gorgeous babe fights monsters' and think that's not a money making idea?

Agree, she's complex

Perhaps because previous ideas- Electra & Catwoman- failed from that angle? Or because they think we still live in the age where girls go to princess tea parties, wear pink and are frightened of spiders? And therefore there is no target audience?

Let Scarlet do her thing in a Black Widow movie and you'll see an audience.

Exactly, but at present she is different from the female heroes thus far. She's complicated, intelligent and her costume would definitely keep out a winter chill. Guys will go watch for a myriad of reasons. We can go watch because she's exciting and inspiring.

Except Buffy the vampire slayer went 7 seasons, Xena ran four or five and they couldn't make an 'Aliens' movies without Sigorney Weaver.
So, this stuff has an audience. Hollywood and comics just need to get over this 'girls are weird' thing, or maybe interact with some girls so they know how to write them better.

The artist has the T&A shots with the really big breasts (imagine that) - but you might like the story.. Coulson is in it as well...
