The river is good when it rains. It stays fresh and is the only water source for the village. But if it's dry season, they're in trouble.

Raya sat down with Ezra at the river. They picked up he last of the water.
Raya filled the bucket. It was only half way up. All the water was officially gone. She sighed. She handed the Abucket to Ezra and she put her jaws around the handle. She headed towards her village.
