Fantasy Fanatics discussion

So we've had two episodes now, what do we think? I'm still not sure what my opinion is. Other than Coulson i'm not particularly interested in any of the characters and the second episode was a bit dull i thought. I'm also still worried about how they are going to make the series interesting when they are presumably going to want to save their most interesting stories for the movies. That said, i still think the series has potential to go in some interesting directions and, if nothing else, its a fun easy watch.

I'll watch it because i'm a sucker for super powers, but the acting/script was a little corny for me. It's the comic book style i guess, but i was hoping it would be done better. Has anybody noticed that there are no ugly people being cast? Not that i'm complaining, the eye candy is always nice, but it always draws me back to reality and out of the moment when i realise there are no "real" people on screen.

Coulson is the big draw for the series. I like the 2 geeks (whose names I cant remember) but other than that I have no interest in the other characters who are a bit meh. I agree that it's fun and stuff but they're won't really be throwing out any major characters or plots or stuff from the comics or that they come up with cos a lot of it will be saved for the movies 'just in case' or whatever. I enjoy it for now, but unless they change up the formula and the cast A LOT I can't see it lasting for a particularly long time. It just seems to be lacking something.
