Hi guys!:) I'm looking for good books that have withes in it. I've already read so many books about vampires and demons and other stuff but not so much about witches. I'd also love to have some romance included!:)

there's secret circle by lj smith, witch born by Amber argyle and witches of east end by Melissa de la Cruz
Hi! There's a lot of Witch books (Let's just face it mainly most Witch books)That contain not just Witches but all other types of Supernaturals as well, so sorry but i have to include these anyway :D. These have the main character as being a witch and contain some romance so enjoy XD -
Dead Witch Walking Haven't actually read this one yet but it sounds pretty good and is on my To-Read shelf ;)
Bewitching the Werewolf This is an extremely short book (More like a story) but it was okay. She's a witch who works for like this supernatural dating agency and there's an Alpha werewolf that can't choose a mate ...
Drive Me Wild I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH! (Probably should have put it first but oh well :P) Tess Menzies is a witch and Rafael De Santos is a were-jaguar. It can be really funny and its defo worth reading!
Grave Witch Again one i haven't read but it does sound pretty cool and i will read it eventually. (I have a lonnnng To-Read list :D)
Shadow of the Wolf Really REALLY like this one. Its got Lana Evans a Witch and Christopher Beckett whose a Werewolf and its full of humor which i just can't resist! Im not exactly sure if in these one she is a witch or not but it sounds interesting and has magic in it (One is just, like, magic and the other one is kinda Elemental control-ish) so maybe you wanna give it a try? -
Magic to the Bone Haven't gotten 'round to reading this one yet (See To-Read shelf description above) But i liked the sound of it enough to add it anyway.
Playing with Fire I love this one, just in case you wanted to know :D Some scientist-type person slipped something into her Moche Latte when he was on the run and now she can control the elements. Add yummy Rome and an awesome side-kick and you have yourself one awesome book ;)And thats it for now, might edit later. Hope you enjoy at least Some of them XD
I recommend, in no particular order:A Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night, parts 1 and 2 of a trilogy by Deborah Harkness, part 3 still to come.
Blonde with a Wand and Chick with a Charm by Vicki Lewis Thompson
Witches of East End, Serpent's Kiss, and Winds of Salem by Melissa de la Cruz
The Trouble With Magic, first in a series by Madelyn Alt
A Witch's Handbook of Kisses and Curses by Molly Harper
50 Ways to Hex Your Lover, first in a series by Linda Wisdom
Brownies and Broomsticks, first in a series by Bailey Cates
Witchling, first in a series by Yasmine Galenorn
Vicious Circle, first in a series by Linda Robertson
Black Magic Woman, first in a series by Justin Gustainis
The Patriot Witch, first in a trilogy by C.C. Finlay
It Takes a Witch, first in a series by Heather Blake
This is a fabulous trilogy with a lot of romance. One of my favorite by Nora Roberts for sure. The other two books are:
I can always go for a witch book, they're so hard to find! I'll have to check these suggestions out! The witchy books I've read are
My favorite book with witches. It's the most accurate that I've found!
A really great book! The romance is intense and I was hooked instantly.
It's best when you read both books in this series to get the full "witch" effect.
Not exactly witches, but still has psychics and magic.
Not all witchy. Still really good!
She owns a wiccan shop.
YA, but I loved the characters in this one
Same author as the first I mentioned, and just as accurate!Hope you find a good one! Let me know if you find a witch book that's actually about witchy-type things! I'd love to read it!
Christine Feehan: Drake Sisters Novels 1-6 a series- I've actually only read one,
but I did enjoy it!
And how about a snarky Wizard from Chicago?
...
I also second the recommendations of:
was a good book. It has some witch in it but other than that it's mostly shifters.I also agree with the
,
, and
recommendations! All really good books (:
If you want something "lite" then Annette Blair has 2 interconnecting trilogies about them. The Kitchen Witch is book 1 in the first trilogy. And you do need to read them in the correct order, since each of them builds on what occurred before.
I also approve of many of the books that have already been suggested. And while you didn't specifically ASK for wizards, the Harry Dresden series is great. Love me that Harry. (He's the only Professional Wizard in Chicago--and you can find his ad in the Yellow Pages there.)

a southern fried series with humor by Kimberly Frost A spicy series by Anya Bast Elemental Witches
Someone mentioned Kim Harrison's books...author is doing a "read along" promo. Books were supposed to be on sale as the read along covers each book. Check out her blog on Goodreads for info.
Sarah wrote: "Read "The Drake Sisters" Series by Christine Feehan! Best Series ever!"So I'm behind as usual (author deadlines) but I can second the Yasmine Galenorn D'Artigo sisters books. I'm behind on that series by about four books but I started with Witchling and kept going from there.
And I JUST finished Joley's story from the Drake Sisters. Interesting use of magic by both hero and heroine and her family.
Sascha
HiI've wanted to leap in and suggest my book for a while, bu i did check with the moderators first.
Meena, heroineof Curse of the Fae King is a failed witch, or so she thinks... Curse of the Fae KIng
Sarah wrote: "Read "The Drake Sisters" Series by Christine Feehan! Best Series ever!"Thanks for posting this. It's a series I love. How do you feel about the "Sisters of the Heart" add ons?
Both of my top picks have already been mentioned but I'd definitely reccommend the Hollows series by Kim Harrison, it starts with
I also enjoyed the sweep seies
. It's YA and completely different to Kim Harrison's witchy offering but I enjoyed it. The Wiccan aspect is also quite accurate, as least until they start throwing witch fire ;)

this is a fabulous witch series!!" The fourth book in this series will be releasing soon!!! "Mistaken"
Witch World (entire very long series, set in a parallel world, not all of the books involve witches--we also have griffin's, green men/women, kelpie type horses, Old Ones (basically, alien beingings with god-like powers) wizards, sorceresses, regular humans, priests and priestesses. . .
Charmed & Dangerous (trilogy)
Summon the Keeper While not quite witches, that's the closest analogy I can come up with. This is a trilogy, and has a good bit of humour in it. (One of the books has Snow White show up with the 7 Dwarves--and she's their manager and they are a "little people" basketball team.)
Elizabeth Ann Scarborough has a couple of anthologies that she's edited with witches in them.

I only read the first book in that series, and I found it too slow. Feehan tends to write wordy books anyway, but the Sisters of the Heart series... I think I would have been happier if she'd left the town with the final Drake Sisters book.
I enjoyed the Drake Sisters series, but was stunned that she essentially 'mated' Joley - who doesn't want kids - (view spoiler).
I know Christine Feehan has twelve kids of her own, and comes from a family of fourteen, but this is the 21st, not 17th century!! Not many women see that as a happy ending!
I'll admit that I haven't read many stories with witches, but I have read the first two books in the
All Souls
trilogy
which I absolutely loved! The third book
is due out in July.
The women of the underworld by Kelley Armstrong has witches in it.. As well as vampires, shifters and all things growly with sharp teeth.. :)
I have a series in progress that is Witch based....my short story will be in another group for a writing contest...and free of course. An ex-High Priestess Alexandrian Wiccan author...you don't get THAT in a fiction witch book much!
There are lots of books with witches in them, but the best one with the use of witchcraft that i have read is the dresden files. He uses protection spells, crystals, coloured candles and of course pentagrams to name a few he has realy done his homework!!
There are not many references to the wicca religion which is different to druidism, shammans etc, but alot of references to witchcraft which itself is not a religion.
