Pens, Paper, Write! discussion

In this game the point is to come up with as many different ways to say the same thing as you can. For example:
If the word is pretty:
Lovely
Gorgeous
Handsome
And so on. Once you can't come up with another synonym just say "The word is…(your word here)"

Let's start easy:
The word is HELLO

melon

hello sounds like mellow which sounds like melon and therefore melon means hello, which means it's SYNONYM!

Just for the record ali, you can't always believe things you find on the internet and I'm pretty sure gwen found that on the internet...

Oh and a synonym for greetings could be hello.... technically this could be part of the first word....
