Does anyone else here think that it would be a good idea for Anita and Edward to get together, and for her to just like break up and leave all her other men?

No. I actually like Edward. I dont want Anita ruining his character. Then again I no longer read this series, but if Edward and Anita get together, I NEVER want to hear about it.
One of the things I always enjoyed about the relationship between Anita and Edward was that she time and again brought up the topic of the classic "who's better" question (Which I recall Edward to sum up perfectly by telling her: "I didn't make you a better monster") - however, I don't think that (although hearing what Anita has become, she might think so these days) the idea there was to answer "who's the better love machine". :D
So, no, I don't think that it would be even anywhere close to being a good idea.
But I do think that the break up and leave her harem of men part is a great idea!

Absolutely not! Edward so far is one of the few main guys in the series that Anita is able to just be friends with and not be another notch on her ever expanding harem of men (and Jade, as of the last book I read). To make them lovers would ruin that.
I don't want them together because he keeps her grounded in a way. He is the only man in her life that keeps it real because he isn't driven to sleep with her. One of the worst things this series did was destroy Anita's friendship with Ronnie. For such a pro-feminist read it sucks that it enforces the belief that women can't be friends. Baring that Edward in a strange way provides the only true friendship dynamic Anita can have.
When I had first started the series I thought they could have been a good match. But those were in the days waaaaaaaaaaaay prior to her having her own harem and actually wasn't considered as being more of one of the monsters than the monsters were. And I think the way she is now, Edward would have popped a bullet in her behind too after a certain point because he'd be confused on her motivations to really have his back or not. So yea, definitely not a good couple.
No, I think it would be super cliche and ruin a lot the good sibling-like feelings they have towards each other. Could you just imagine the fight for dominance in that relationship, though?
They should definitely stay friends, but not lovers. I'd rather see her and Jean-Claude together.
No. Edward and Anita together would be close to incense. Their so similar in character and they know one another so well it would seem wrong. Everyone believes that Anita and Jean-Claude should be together be given that she's polyamorous it just seems wrong to forget Micah and Nathaniel. Life without them for Anita would be empty. They each fill a whole in her life. I can't see her without them.
ewww. I have never thought that would be a good idea. They are too alike and he is just too strange. I still like Jean-Claude with her best of all of the men. Really don't even like Richard at this point. It is past time for him to come to grips with himself as he is and just get over it.
Oh no they shouldn't. They have a great friendship and should stay that way.
No, that would be like incest. Edward has always been my secret crush, though, ever since his first appearance. And then his book showed up with him as 'Ted,' involved with a new age hippy single mom. Lol! Close to my personality, but she is rather a wimp, she doesn't deserve him. But then, who would? :D
