Layla sat quietly in the back of math class. She had finished the assigned problems already, and now she was watching the other students scribbling furiously on their papers.

Destiny was in the same class as Layla and wondered how she had finished so fast. she was only on the 5th question out of 15. She looked over at Layla and mouthed, "Help me."

Layla smiled at destiny and shrugged. "didn't you study?" she mouthed back.

"I did, it just goes out of my head." Destiny mouthed backed.

Layla smiled and shook her head, her hair shining in the sunlight from the window.
"you know cheating is wrong."

"Oh come on, it's not really cheating, it's helping a classmate. Plus, I studied, so I did the work." Destiny said, trying to get Layla to help her. But than, the math teacher looked up from her papers and walked over to Destiny. "What are you mouthing about?" She asked.
"I was asking if Layla could pick up my pencil." Destiny responded.
"Right. Your pencil is right there. Please come to my desk, Destiny." The teacher said. Destiny followed the teacher, but looked back behind her to mouth, "HELP ME!" meaning it 4 real this time.

"Mr. Taylor?" Layla said, raising her hand. "I think there's a mistake on question three. Pi can't be used to solve the equation, so the book's answer has to be incorrect."

Mr. Taylor opened his mouh to reply, but the lunchtime bell rang before he could talk.

Destiny ran up to Layla. "Thanks so much. You wanna sit with me for lunch?" Destiny asked.

"Sure!" Layla said, smiling at Destiny. "Wait- I've got to grab my lunch. I'll be right back!" Jazzie transformed into a sleek silvery wolf and streaked off down the hallway towards her locker.

Destiny waited for layla.

Layla streaked back to Destiny, leaping into the air as a wolf and landing back on the ground as a girl. Transforming always gave her a temporary high, like eating an entire box of chocolates and chugging a six pack of coke.
"let's go!"

"Ok." Destiny said and headed off toward the lunchroom. "So you're a shapeshifter?"

"Only half," Layla said. "My mom is a shapeshifter, and a really amazing one too. My dad was a werewolf. He died when I was four. No one knew what powers I would have. I can transform at will, but only into a canine. What about you?"

"Oh, I"m a shapeshifter. I just shape shift into anything, really. But i do ppl really well." Destiny said.

Myst looked at her new school.

"Wait, I'll be right back. I forgot something in my locker." Destiny said. She walked out of the cafetairia and into the hallways. She turned into a cheetah and race down the hallways to her locker. She jumped in mid-air and turned back into a girl. She saw a new girl. "Hi." She said.

"Hi."

"It's time for lunch you know." Destiny commented.

"Yea, ok." She said nodding slightly.

"Are you new here?"

"Um, yea." She nodded a bit more.

Destiny noticed it was Noccie. She looked at the floor.

"And why do you what to know." She said. Her hair was covering the 'tat'.

Destiny looked up at Noccie. "Back off. Now." DEstiny said, standing tall.

"Nothing much, except for this brat right here." She pointed to Noccie.

Jazzie thought she heard a commotion coming from the hallway. Transforming into a tiny puppy so she wouldn't be noticed, Jazzie snuck towards the noise.

Myst began to step backwards, She didn't like being social, bad things happened when she was.

"Um, that's not a good idea." She said shaking her head, but careful not to show the dragon, " It's not good to hang out with me."

Jazzie snuck up behind the bully and silently transformed into a giant wolf. Noccie couldn't see her, but the other girls could.

Destiny glared @ Noccie. "She shouldn't hang out with over grown brats like you." Destiny said. She turned into Noccie, a complete duplicate of her. "Oh mu gosh! I broke a nail!"She said, immitating Noccie.

"No it's not that, it's just not a good idea to be with me, things happen." She shook her head a little more being less careful.

JazZie sat down behind the bully, listening to the conversation.

She shook her head a little harder.

Layla cocked her head. The new girl was hiding something. What was it?

((I wonder if I should bring her parents in, they are trying to catch her for more experiments.....))

Two people entered the school. Myst looked back and saw them. she recognized them immediately. She went wide eyed and looked forward, staring at nothing.

Layla could taste the waves of fear rolling off the MYST-erious (haha!) new girl.

don't see me, don't see me.... She thought over and over again.

The newcomers seemed to be searching for something. Layla growled, the hairs on her neck standing up.

They pressed a button on something, All the sudden Myst's black feathered wings spread. she took off flying, They started to chase her.

Jazzie lept into the air and hit the ground runnng, chasing after the odd group of people.

Her wings were bent so she wouldn't anything. They looked back.

Destiny went wide eyed from what just happened. She turned into a very, very large eagle and took a hold of the new girl. "Need a ride?" She asked.

"Not really, the wings will last, I need to find a way out side though if you don't mind. I just hope I just hope they don't push it again before then."

"Okay." Destiny turned into a cheetah. "THis way." She growled, she raced down the hallways.

She followed.

Destiny led her to a pair of doors. "Out this way." She said.

She landed quickly and opened the door, "Thanks." She flew up ward.
