There's four that I've seen theorized that I kind of am okay with.1. It ends with one of them burning on the ceiling. (Full circle, y'know?)
2. Sam saying to Dean "you're my favourite brother." Dean replying with "Sam, I'm your only brother." Then. "We forgot Adam." Hopefully Adam comes back before then though.
3. They both die. Like, permanently die. No Cas or anyone to save them. And that sad music box version of Carry On Wayward Son should play softly.
4. Everything ends. Like, no more demons, angels, or monsters. Just humans left on Earth.
Those are a few.
Jensen said he would like to see it end with them both dying, because things never end well for them, and he wants John Winchester to appear, open his arms, and say, "Come on home, boys. You're done."
I would love that.
I would love that.

Totally agree. If they die, I want them to go together, and I hope Jensen gets his wise and John is there to greet them. Actually, I would want to see Bobby, their mom, and Jessica all be there for them, like they have their own spot in heaven together. Cause when Sam and Dean went there and saw Ash, he said he couldn't find John or Mary, so that always made me think they broke the rules and found a way to share a place.

Jensen just shared about his dream he had few weeks ago about SPN finale. In his dream Sam has died and there was no way for Dean to bring him back. Then the scene cuts to Dean driving the impala on the highway and he stops when a stranger appears. He gets out of the impala and gives the keys to the stranger. And the stranger gives his keys to him. Then the stranger drives away and Dean is left with a motorcycle.Because with his brother gone forever Dean doesn’t need passenger seat anymore. To the endless horizon where the highway is laid, Dean rides on his motorcycle alone.
Jensen dreams about the show too. How funny. I don't like how his unconscious mind killed Sam though.

I sincerely hope that that it was a dream. If someone dies at the end, it either has to be neither or both of them.

I've always seen Sam arguing Dean and Dean tries to protect sam and take him 2 d ri8 path and in the end they will fight against Satan (I think)..So I think d ending will b that Crowley will say 2 Sam
"You can kill Lucifer. U r strong. u hv d ability 2 stop d apocalyps"
Sam gets devoted and starts packing his bag.
Dean comes nd asks him what he's doin'
Sam tell Dean that he's goin' to kill Lucifer.
Dean: Are u crazy? Do u want urself to get killed? I'm not gonna let u do that..
Sam: I knew it.. its bcz u're afraid of me Dean. U know that I can do it
After a long discussion Sam tells Dean that he'll leave in d morning.
in d morning Sam will b leaving. He says bye to Cass but Cass doesn't wanna talk to him
Dean appears from d back
Dean: "Sam"
Sam keeps walking forward
Dean: Sammy
Dean: Aren't u even gonna say bye to me?
Sam turn around with his eyes full of rage for Dean and walks away.
Dean with his eyes full of tear goes into d room, takes off d necklace Sam gave, keeps it in his hand and cries.
Crowley appears laughing
Dean: Why r u laughing?
Crowley:
Dean Dean Dean. I'm so sad for u boy. U always try to protect ur brother but he's so stupid that after so many mistakes, he still doesn't get that u're right. Man he's again put his life in danger.
Dean: What do u mean?
Crowley: What do u think? v demons r gonna let him kill our king? NEVER. Actually its a trap for him..
YOU'VE LOST YOUR BROTHER DEAN.
Crowley snaps and vanishes.
Dean wipes his tears, wears the necklace and rushes towards his car.
Cass askes Dean: Where r u goin'?
Dean: Sam's life z in danger. I gotta save him
Cass: Really dean? U r going to save a brother who doesn't even care 'bout u.
Dean: I don't care whether he cares 'bout me or not. I gotta protect him and this is my job.
While driving, D gets a flashback of d memories with Sam nd while thinking 'bout em, his car strikes a tree.
Now impala is screwed up. He stars running.
Suddenly some demons appear. Dean somehow trickes them and runs into d forest demons jump down from d trees and surround Dean
one hits an ax in his leg. Dean falls on d ground. They hit him so badly that he starts shivering and bleeding badly.
The demons leave him by saying that he'll die in pain.
A sad music plays.. Dean all alone laying in a forest..
But suddenly, he opens his eyes and a heroic music plays.
Dean gets up... Starts walking....
after a long time.. He saw sam, holding a back and walking forward. He runs in a slow speed bcz of the wounds and he falls. He again gets up nd again falls.
This time he can't get up so he screams SAM.
Sam turns around and sees Dean and stands in wonder.
Dean gets up with his full face in blood and nods his head saying NO.
Sam's heart starts melting and a bromance moment shows up but suddenly.....
.
.
.
.
.
A demons appears from d back and throws a knife which directly stabs in Dean's chest and he falls on d ground.
Sam runs towards Dean and as he gets so near to Dean other demons catch him and he can't even touch his brother in his last moments.......
Dean lays all alone and a slow version of Carry On My Wayward son plays.....
The screen becomes black and d dialogue that Dean said to Sam in No rest 4 the wicked
"Sammy remember what Dad taught u okay? remember what i taught u?"
plays.......
That's it

Agreed. I just don't want to see one die and the other have to go on without them because they are so dependent on each other.

I think they'll have just fought some new evil foe. Like Luci or something. Castiel has died and Dean and Sam are mortally wounded. Chuck will admit he is God and offer them both the chance to live. Dean will turn it down as the apocalypse has finally broke out and he doesn't want to live knowing they didn't stop it and that CAs is dead. Not wanting to live without Dean, Sam decides he wishes to die too. The boys both hug each other as Dean whispers "I'm proud of us Sammy." The world crumbles as they turn to see Bobby and their mother walking towards them. Bobby smiles and says, "Carry on my wayward ya idjits." and then blackness. I don't know but I imagine the end involves one of Team Free Will's members to die as the apocalypse finally comes. but I really hope the show doesn't end ANY time soon. I'm crying now. Thanks for bringing up this emotional question. *Cries as I sing 'Carry on my Wayward Son*
It can never end, Jared and Jensen have to keep playing until old and grey lol. But I know everything has to eventually end so I would hope that they have to face the whole of Hell but where they both sacrifice themselves for the World, Chuck should appear and tell them due to their sacrifice they get to remain in Heaven together. That way they are together with Cass and all the old gang including Bobby. But I hope there's at least 5 more seasons before they end it.
I know a lot of people think Chuck is God, but I find that ridiculous. Would God date Becky???? I don't think so.
Kasi wrote: "I know a lot of people think Chuck is God, but I find that ridiculous. Would God date Becky???? I don't think so."What's actually funny about that is the fact that Chuck dumped Becky. I mean just think about it. Chuck dated and dumped Becky. Chuck=God so if Chuck dumped Becky then that would mean that God . . .
Whoa.

I suddenly have a large amount of sympathy for Becky.
Aalia W wrote: "For a. Both the boys to die together. That way they'd be in heaven, at peace ... and no one would summon them or try to bring them back. They aren't the only hunter's out there! But they better go ..."The "Goodnight" part oh that would be so sad but perfect
Saving People, Hunting Things~ The Family Business wrote: "A shot of Dean and Sam in the Impala going to another hunt."Love this idea, classic
Idk when it will end and who will be the big bad at the time. But I really think that things need to be solved. Like chuck said - nothing ever ends - there will always be demons and hell and heaven and all sort of threats. But the Winchesters are not eternal and will not always be there to stop the bad guys. The show is not about them making the world a safe place. It simply puts their personal struggles in the same plane as their attempts to save the world from whatever is coming at the moment. The boy's biggest issues are Sam's dream of a normal life, Dean's desire to keep Sam safe and their (mostly Dean's) dependency to each other. Gabriel was right about one thing (OK, he was right bout many things, but in particular about:) the fact that they need to learn to live without each other and let go of each other when the time comes. So I really think that one of them should die (one day one of them should die, and while later the other too). To my opinion this must be Dean (though he is my favorite by a slight advantage). The point is that both Dean and Sam dream of an apple pie / stanford college life. The difference is that Dean does not know how to live it once he has it. Dean is restless (and slightly suicidal, considering how much he goes after danger). So it must be Sam to live a normal life - this way both are happy. Dean sees sam safe and happy, sam gets what he always wanted. The death has to happen in order fro the boys to break the cycle of dependency (And because, let's face it, there is something slightly more heartbreaking about Dean dying then by him living or Sam dying instead). Besides, dean is a much more tragic character than Sam. so seeing him happy in heaven in one hand but knowing that he never lived for himself will leave a very bittersweet taste to the ending. The same effect will happen since Sam will be happily independent like he always wanted but will learn to appreciate Dean's presence once loosing him. And above all - Dean is a mommy's boy. Seeing him join heaven and find Mary is the best conclusion. I doubt he would be able to create a family or love a woman if he stays alive. He seems to have it impossible to love a woman (or angel, destiel shippers) completely, even when he really cares for them. This would be the best way to wrap it up, in my opinion. However, I'm sure there other great alternative endings. But I agree with the vision Jensen had - say if sam dies and Dean is left alive, the idea of him exchanging his car keys with a motorcycle is really great. Not only does he not need the Impala anymore, but he also decides to let it go (accepting that sam will not be back) I read somewhere that the impala is a symbol of the family for Dean, being his only home and the one thing he takes care most (after sam), to which he can be sweet (calling it baby), and the thing where he discharges his emotions (like when after john died, he started beating the car our of anger). So when (if) sam dies, Dean can either start a new family or lead a lonesome existence. But either way, he has to give up the Impala, since that means that he gives up the illusion of a happy Winchester family - which actually was just that from the start, an illusion.
Yepp, I'm weeping for dean
PS: And no, I do not have a fangirl crush on him. And I'm not trashing Sam neither. They are both great, with Dean being the one I can relate the most.
Hi, I would like to see a good ending for both of them. I have two options:1 - My perfect ending would be for them to keep on fighting; they would rebuild the Men of Letters and start coordinating with other hunters. They would be the new “Bobby”, the ones other hunters would go to for advice. I would like to see that bunker full of people. We would see the new Men of Letters studying. Hunters would come to train and do some research. We would see Claire and other young Hunters passing by. We would see them talking to Cole, who had also became a Hunter.
We would see them coordinating over the map, Dean talking over the phone, sending backup to some Hunter. He would bump into Sam, also on the phone, with a book in his hands, reading something to someone at the end of the line. A woman brings them food and kisses one of them. As the other finishes the call, a child comes crying “daddy” and throw him/herself into his arms. We would see the other wife, talking to the first one and something would give us a hint that they are also Hunters/Men of Letters.
Flash forward some years; you would see Dean and Sam with families. Even more people in the bunker.
Flash forward to their old age, they are sitting together, like they were on the Episode 10x4 – Paper Moon. Then the following dialog, almost the exact words of that episode:
Dean: See that thing in the paper this morning?
Sam: We should call some guys, have them fix it.
They exchange a look, then get up and go to the car.
Last scene: they are driving on a road somewhere.
2 – My second best ending: they should die together. We would see Castiel, visiting their graves. We would see other hunters and Men of Letters in the Bunker, fighting the good fight.
Then, we would see Castiel in Heaven, looking for them and we would see that they are together, maybe in a heaven version of the Bunker (yes, I love that Bunker!) or even in the Impala.
After watching Dean try to save Sam yet again and almost die doing it, I'm thinking I would like for it to end with one of them learning their lesson and letting the other go.
Its hard to say How I would see it end because it can go either way with the boys. 1. They both go out in blaze of glory and they finally get to be with their parents and all the people they loved.2. (this one is more jensen version from years ago but I liked it) Sam died and the scene changes to a guy being handed keys to the impala and next we see dean his riding off on motorcycle because didnt see any reason to have a two seater with no one around to be with you.
3. We have seen what dean would do when sam is on point of death I have say likely dean would off himself if sam died.
4.They go out in blaze of glory and just when fight about to start then screen goes black.
Season 11 is the only season that I've seen week by week, as each episode was airing; Although I've seen the other 10 seasons, too.I'd like the final scene of the series being:Azazel is near a house, on the opposite side, gazing inside of a house in particular. As he continues looking, he is about to take a step towards the house, when Gabriel, The Archangel, taps his shoulder, says "Not this time, buddy. " and smiths him. The scene continues in the house as we see Mary Winchester cradling Sammy, a music box in the middle of the room, starts a small tune. Mary is frightened by this, but instead of Sam crying, he likes this tune, and the final line in the series is spoken through the Music Box- "Carry on my Wayward, son. Don't you cry no more... ".
It's the most fulfilling thing for me.

I like both of your endings & would be happy to see either one of them take place when Supernatural ends. I'd also like to see the Men of Letters rebuilt and expanded. But we don't know what the writers will do. Probably something unexpected. What we do know is that we'll be depressed for a while after the show ends. And, how did I get myself so attached to a tv show?
Jenny wrote: "Its hard to say How I would see it end because it can go either way with the boys. 1. I just hope that the writers do something that will satisfy all of the fans. It is a tall order to fill.
Decided that I'd prefer if they kept both Sam and Dean alive. Three reasons: Star Trek, Star Wars and the X-Files. I am a fan of all three which means I'm a long time, diehard genre fan. We like seeing the original characters, and don't care how old they are or if they can still do stunts. I'm enjoying seeing Mulder and Scully again which means I'm back watching the show and spending money. I was so happy that they did not kill off Mulder and Scully. And, I'm still going to see all Star Wars and Trek movies and spending money on the franchises. And some people complain about the new Star Trek movies but the rest of us are happy and tell the others to settle down.
If Supernatural's producers are smart (and I think they are), they will not kill off Sam and Dean realizing that the characters are on the same level as the Kirk/Spock and Mulder/Scully characters which means you can't kill them off.

That is true. But even if they kill them off, they can always come back. No one is truly ever gone on this show.

Supernatural is life... especially for the Winchesters who keep coming back from dying; that being said, I think Supernatural isn't just a tv show for most fans... it's a lifestyle. Even when it ends, I think the true fans are the ones to watch it over and over or share it with others... maybe one day with our children.

Men of Letters is a stand-alone similar to the Federation, the Rebel Alliance or the FBI re-opening the X-Files. You must leave room for a revival and for other story lines to develop. These story lines will be separate from Sam & Dean. If done right, fans will follow.
