What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

the book is about a girl that dies (not a spoiler), and then she becomes a ghost and the only way she can be at "peace" is if she finds out how she died. She meets this other ghost (forgot his name) and she just ends up traveling through her memories and reality. She runs a lot and doesn't eat anything to do with sugar or carbohydrates because her mom told her how unhealthy it is since she was younger.

Shari dies and becomes a ghost and meets an old friend named Peter (also a ghost). Cake and sugar are involved as well (her brother is diabetic). She and Peter try to figure out how she died.
