Lea Carter (leacarterwrites) | 34 comments The Golden Stallion's Victory was one of my favorites when I was growing up. I know we're pretty removed from the "cowboy" era, but I still love a good Western once in a while.
What are your favorite MG Westerns? I could use some suggestions! I've read Louis L'Amour's books often enough that I remember what's going to happen next. :-)

Rachel Hamilton (rachelhamilton) | 11 comments Hi Lea,
Caroline Lawrence (author of the brilliant Roman Mysteries) has started a new series of Western Mysteries - with a 12 year-old hero detective called PK Pinkerton - set in a frontier town in 1860s Nevada. They're great. We reviewed 'The Case of the Good-Looking Corpse and interviewed her on our book blog if you want to take a look ... http://book-walrus.com/book-reviews-c...

That's a great tip, thank you! I immediately thought of the Pinkerton's, but they were started by Allan Pinkerton in Chicago. Even so, it sounds full of potential.
