This book is about finding self worth. About finding value in yourself and not caving into the pressure that you have to be like everyone else. The MC goes through a dramatic change with the help of a boy through out the book in the beginning she is bogged down with low self esteem and depressed this books shows how she came out of it. She saw the Light so to speak.
