Where he sleeps

Drakini opened the doors of his chambers and placed Amira on the bed. He walked into the bathroom and changed into his usual dress, a white long sleeve shirt, with a cow skin vest. He sat down at the table and began writing letters.

After a few hours Amira's eyes opened she sat up and looked around and thought how did I get here ? She noticed she was wearing a white gown instead of her black shirt and pants how did I get into this ? She stood shakily and went over to the window " where am I ?" She whispered

A few hours later Drakini came back and opened the door. He walked in and went to the desk. Sighing, he looked up at he ceiling. Father had basically killed him. He did not notice that Amira was up.

Amira turned around startled " I-I'm sorry I-I shouldn't be here my lord " she bowed " I-I'll go if you would like "

Drakini turned around and saw that Amira was awake, "you have finally awoke Amira. I was getting worried." He let some air out. "You hit your head, are you okay?" He asked her.

She nods " yes my lord I'm alright " she couldn't remember how she got into drakini's room

Drakini wanted to tell her what had happened, but he did not want to tell her everything. "Amira, have you met a very nice guy, he calls himself Nicholas. He brought you here to me so I could help you. Also he told me that you told him that I was handsome." He looked at her like it was true, but also a lie.

She nodded " Nicholas looked a lot like you so I mistook him for you my lord and how did you know my name ?" She blushed the color faint but apparent on her cheeks she really did like drakini but was afraid to tell him after all she was a village girl and he a prince could the two ever be ? She thought

"Nicholas told me as he handed you over to me." He smiled. "It is fine. A lot of people mistaken someone for me." He sighed.

" I am sorry my lord thank you for your help " Amira couldn't tell him it might complicate things for him she sighed softly her blue eyes were a crystal clear teal shade of blue

"Why are you saying you are sorry? There is no need to. Oh, before you leave, Nicholas asked me to ask you something, well, he just wanted to meet you again. 'Meet me next to the apple cart tommorrow morning, just before the cart opens,' those were his exact words." Drakini had always remembered phrases since he was ten.

Amira nods " ok please tell him I will be there "
She offered a small smile and said softly " thank you again for your help "

Prince Drakini nodded, "Do not worry I will tell him."

((what time of day should this be right now?))

Amira nods and looks out the window noticing it was dark out " dammit " she hated having to go out after dark alone

Drakini looked at her, "I can send one of my guards with you if you like." He turned his head and saw that it was dark out, "Or you can just stay here until the morning." He suggested. "Your choice."

She blushed and looked at the ground

((okay so you know how he said that 'Nicholas wants to meet her at the apple cart just before it opens, well, just as is finished getting dressed to go meet her there, Amira sees him, but does not ask him. So she watches and then follows...))


"Looks like you are already in your nightgown, you will stay here." He took off his vest and then shirt. He then left the room to change into shorts and a t-shirt. He came back out and got into bed.

Amira curls up on the floor at the foot of his bed

Drakini could not fall asleep, all he could think about was Amira. Sighing, he finally found himself nodding off to sleep.

He woke quietly so that Amira would not wake up. He walked to the dresser and found some peasant clothes. He walked to the bathroom, changed and came back out. He walked to the bed and slipped both his shoes on. He did not realize that the girl was awake.

Amira was awake she saw him and stood and dressed quietly and quickly and followed him

Drakini walked out of his chambers towards the town.

Amira entered and looked at drakini

The prince walked into his room. He closed the door behind him so no one would look in. He then walked to his bed and sat down.

Amira remained standing over by the window

The prince walked over to where Amira was. He stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Amira blushed and smiled her hands on his and smiled

He placed his head on her shoulder. "Do you like the view?" He asked her.

" yes but I love you drakini" she blushed

"I know that." He smiled at her. "When do you think that we should tell my parents?"

Amira shrugged " whenever you like "

"I just don't know when." He shrugged.

Amira blushed as she noticed drakini's head was on her shoulder and she was in his arms

The prince yawned. "I am tired."

Amira said softly"go get some rest " she smiled a little not sure if she should stay while he slept

The prince smiled. Unclasping his arms from around her waist, he walked behind a screen and changed for bed. He then came out is shorts and one of the white shirts.

Amira smiled but then looked at the ground blushing " should I leave drakini ?" Hoping maybe he would tell her to stay

Drakini smiled, "You can stay here if you want." He walked to his bed and sat down. He was not that tired.

She blushed " it is up to you my lord " she bows and smiles wondering what he would say and do

"Come sit with me." He smiled at her as he patted the bed.

She sat beside him and blushed feeling shy

"Lean on me." He told her.

She did as told but gently

The prince smiled, "When did you first have a crush on me?"

She blushed " when we had first met "

The prince gave her a look, "really?" He raised his right eyebrow.

She said softly " yes " and stood going out onto the balcony thinking she did something wrong and upset him

"Is something wrong my love?" He questioned her as he stood up and walked with her to the balcony.

Amira shook her head " n-no drakini it's nothing "
