Here are the questions I would like you to answer:
1. on page 91 Loctons says, "Suspicion will fall on my neck first" Why do you think that he would be the first on they suspect?
2. on page 104 she is visiting with the rebles, why do you think that she decided to work with them? did you see this coming? why or why not?
3.on page 107 the loctons found out that the "Rebles" are coming to arest Mr. Locton, how do you think they learned of this? Do you think that it is possable that the loyalists have a spy that is working with the rebles and that is how they got that information?
4. on page 132 you find out that the loctons sold Rose, why do you think that they decided to do this? Do you think that it might have been because pervously in the story Mrs. Locton thought that Rose was a demon child?
5. on page 148 when Isabell is being branded as a punishment, why do you think that some of the people walked away with their heads down? Do you think it is because they might feel guilty because they know that, what was going on was wrong? If so why do you think that no one tried to help her?
6. On page 164 it says "'all men, are created equal' the words come first." why do you think that this man stated this with suck a strong voice? do you think that americans now treasure freedome as much as they did? Why do you think this?
7. On page 168 it talks about the fude between Curzon and Isabell, why do you think that even though they are fighting Curzon still carries the buckets for her? Do you think that it is only because there is a cut on her hand that makes carrying them painful, or is there something going on?

oh and please answer each question with a different comment, I know we may not get to all of them but thtas ok
Page 91 answer: He is supected first because there are rumors that he kisses the kings boot still and he is a Loyaist to the king.
I think Lockton would be the first one they suspect because he is an incredibly strong loyalist, his opinion is not wavered easily, and as we've seen before, many people think that he is smuggling theings past other people. He obviously is an incredibly suspicious man, probably one of the reasons they have Isabel tailing him.
On question 5 i think that some people walked away with thier heads down because yes they did feel guilty and also they mught have thought that it hurt. I think that no one tried to help because they did not want to get hurt or be known as a trader.
Page 104 answer:She is helping them because the red kid says that colonel rigon will help her find the will and the lawer so she can be set free.

On question 4 no i do not think thats why they sold ruth, i think that they sold her as sort of a punishment towards isabell, although that could play a role in why they sold her.

Why do you think that the rebels would tell the mayjor if he was a loyalist?

Yes but why would they tell him? and I dont think it would be because he didn't know yet, try and dig deeper into what the tory rely means by that or what it is implying

Page 148 answer: I think they got scared and felt sorry for and were not able to look at her because she was only a girl, but she was still a slave and was disrespected and treated unfairly.
Yay! onto page 104I think Isabel decided to work for the rebels because she wants to protect herself, and especially her sister. As an older sister myself, I understand her point of view for helping her sister out. This proves, like most older sisters, she would do anything for her little sister. I think I saw this coming because in the previous pages, she keeps trying to hear her master saying something that probably should be overviewed. I had infered that she was going to probably find a peice of information and send it to the rebels.
Emily to answer your question i agree with how you said that they felt guilty but i also thought that they might have thought that it hurt and wanted to look away from the thought of pain.
Page 168 answer: Curzon still feels feel sorry for her and is trying to help her to make it up for her.

Yah but do you think that their might be something more going on, because I for one noticed that

1.I think that Lockton would be suspected as the first suspect because he is the major republican, and the law has already had problems with Lockton and treason.
2.
She decided to work with them because of the way Madam treated them with disrespect and because of the threats that she made to sell Ruth, and because they are the only people who can get them back home.
3.
The Lockton's learned of his arrest because of the rumors and the "spy" that the Locktons had undercover. Giving Mr.Lockton an advantage to get a head start and leave.
4.
The Lockton's probably sold Ruth, because of the "falling down disease" that she had. Another reason why I think that they sold her is because she feared the Madam and had a hard time with her.
5.
If they did find it wrong and did try to help her, they would be punished as well because they would be interfering with her punishment. People walked away with there heads down because they felt bad, and that people who are branded are looked down upon because they disobeyed there master.
