Hello, Lizzy. It's lovely to have you here. Just to correct you, anime is something to watch (it's a cartoon/computer animation).
I never heard of Warrior Cats and I wonder if it's a manga or maybe just a comic...

It's probably a graphic novel (a novel made into a comic book)

Sankarea: Undying Love is a pretty good anime series and so is Sailor Moon, Vision of Escaflowne and others.

I read Sailor Moon. it was good for a while. i stopped watching when Usagi's voice changed.

Hey guys. Anyone watched Accel World? It's a mecha basically, set in a virtual world where people's avatar fight each other. There is this manga I'm also currently reading called, Yamada-Kun to 7-Nin No Majo which is funny.

Adding a "book swap" type thing might be fun for people who want to trade manga that they own for others. Just something I've seen on other groups.

Also, it would be great to get a topic on Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! (I just read the series and want to discuss the ending with someone!)

I haven't even heard of WhatsApp (clever name though) before you mentioned it (hmmm owned by Facebook.) I could be wrong but I don't think there is anything like that yet.

I personally prefer to use Telegram. I think it's a more complete messaging app. I asked about the WhatsApp group because there the conversations are faster.

So I suggest setting up such a group on the Whats App or Telegram. A phone number is required to create a profile.

I still prever a chat group. It's very difficult to talk here. hehe

Hi, I'm new to this group but I have a few suggestions- sorry if they've already been mentioned.

A role play type game?
Manga hangman?

Or more broadly, I'd personally like a discussion thread on Japanese music.

Also I'm thinking I'm sure there are many people who like to try draw, inspired by manga so maybe a thread to share fan art or just ideas.

I used to do a round robin style RP thing on Gaia Online when I was younger and although it worked some of the time the biggest issue was always one or two people that used the story to make their characters the ultimate spotlight of the story able to handle every situation easily and ignoring others (or maybe not even reading much of the other posts.) What would you suggest for an RP Type of Game Yazarah?

I am not even close to a mod or anything but I play D&D sometimes these days and find it really helps with problem solving and creativity but also has at least one person controlling everything outside of a character's actions which would be hard for multiple people with different time availabilities.

As for music the boards are a little cluttered but they seem to have music here and there :)

Hmm its quite difficult on such a large platform but I'd suggest limiting the amount of 'players' in each RP and have rules, for example, no overshadowing, no messing with other people's characters ect.

OR I just thought of this, have a RP solely based on existing characters from a manga, everyone choses one and they have to stick to their role within the actual manga? Obviously if there is a popular role it can be circulated in the next 'round' to story.
