I don't think it is accurate to say that Murdoch Wroth will stop at nothing to claim Daniela. He is a total jerk about 70% of the book. He does just about everything he can to stay away from Daniela and insult her because he doesn't want to be tied to one woman. I think when Daniela says he has bachelor panic she is dead on. This is my least favorite book in the series. I just don't like Murdoch as a character.

After the reread I was surprised how much Murdoch annoyed me this time around. Dani, however, I liked she was trying because all she wanted was to be loved by someone. In the end it worked out but I stilled felt for Danii.

+1 Murdoch is a real jerk for a lot of this story. I think he comes around pretty nicely at the end but he's still my least favorite Wroth brother. :)

That's what did bother me about this story, that Murdoch didn't really want to be mated. I think a heroine deserves a hero who is mad for her.

Yes, this one was one of the few books that received 4 stars from me in the series and now that I'm listening to on audio, I'm remember all that... and how I wasn't crazy for his resistance; Danni deserves better. ☺

Yes, I wanted to smack Murdoch a few times lol. Still, he comes around very nicely at the end.
