I finished 10 chapters as well. I agree with every one of your spoilers! Josh and Dani are indeed awesome! (:
I am so happy the Wolves won the game!! I was hoping they would take Hudson seriously.
I am through Chapter 20 now as well. Yeah, I love Josh!
I hated Kara but then when they talked and she gave Hudson the warning about Will it made me have more respect for her.
I am super excited to see how Hudson's performance goes! :D :D
Are you liking this one?
Forgot to come back last night.. Well I finished! I really liked most of the characters but at points Kara and Will were frustrating and at other times I really liked them.
My actual rating is 3.5 stars! Geez... I wish we could do half stars here on GR.
Here is my review:
“Would 'sorry' have made any difference? Does it ever? It's just a word. One word against a thousand actions.”
Actual Rating: 3.5 stars
This book was pretty good. It had one subject I am really interested in and love to do: baking. I loved reading the descriptions of the cupcakes at the beginning of each chapter and I loved the scenes in the bakery early in the morning when Hudson would be creating another flavor of cupcake! The other subject this book had a lot of was ice skating. I do not really know how to ice skate, although I have done it once. I always thought it would be a super fun thing to learn though so I loved reading about it.
I did like most of the characters although I did have some issues with Kara and Will. Nothing too major.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and wouldn't mind reading Sarah's other books!
yay! I'm glad you, at least, enjoyed it! for some reason, I just loved this one. I slid right into the world and it was so easy for me to just read a few chapters and then move onI really disliked how the mom expected so much from her
and actually told her daughter to go away at one point. I didn't think the mom had a right to ask so much of her
but I was glad at the changes I could see in the character by the end of the story - that she finally talked to her mom, that she cleared the air with Dani and she also took the chance on Josh
*sigh* I thought josh was great too! :)
I've read a few of her other books and liked them
I know. The mother's expectations were ridiculous. And I also loved seeing the changes in the characters.
I will check out some of her other books. Any recommendations on which one I should read first?
Maybe
I read
- and while I liked it, the group I read it with was pretty mixed on liking it and really disliking it.I haven't read but I'd love to soon...maybe January :D
Yeah, that actually works perfect! :D When is good for you? I don't have any buddy reads for January yet.
