Perhaps we all have our own theories and head canons about Disney/Pixar movies. This is a place to share them, be they small theories or massive ones.

Hercules and Ariel
According to Greek mythology, Triton is Poseidon's son and Ariel's father, making the sea god Ariel's grandfather. Poseidon is Zeus's brother. Zeus is Hercules's father, making Triton and Hercules first cousins. Ariel and her sisters are Hercules's second cousins. Melody is Hercules's second cousin once removed, and if Meg and Herc had any kids, they'd be Ariel and her sisters' second cousins once removed.
The Almighty Blue Fairy
The Blue Fairy from Pinocchio is actually Ray's Evangeline. Ray is not a firefly. The Bayou legends talk about a fairy-like creature with lights who become stars when they die, or something along those lines. When Tiana wishes upon Evangeline, it comes true, just like the Blue Fairy.
Genie
In Aladdin, the merchant at the beginning of the movie is actually the Genie in human disguise telling the story of how he got his freedom and trying to sell his old lamp.
Carl and Ellie and Andy
In one of the 'Toy Story' movies a postcard from Carl and Ellie Frederickson (from 'Up') appears on Andy's wall. Carl and Ellie are Andy's great aunt and uncle through Ellie's sister.
Elinor
The reason Elinor is so fussy about Merida is because she was exactly the same at her age. Fergus's mother or maybe her own made her into a proper 'princess' when they got married.
