Dance Academy discussion

Lily walked into her dorm, exhausted. She dumped her dance bag down on her bed and rummaged through it to try to find her phone. She almost yelled, "Mom, where's my phone?" Until she remembered that she was at boarding school now. Then she remembered Amanda. She ran to Studio One.

Lily walked in to her dorm. She took her dance bag off the bed and got her ballet clothes out. She changed into a black leotard with black warmup pants and a pink wrap top. Then she brushed her caramel hair in a bun, put on sneakers, and took her pointe shoes with her as she walked out.

Lily came back into her dorm, ready to plop on her bed. Still in her ballet clothes, she unpacked her small amount of belongings. She put up her ballet posters and got all her clothes in her closet. Lily was a neat freak, so she dusted the small shelf above her bed and put her mom and dad's letters on the shelf. Then she texted her friend, Amelia. She said: "hey amelia. Wish u were here. Miss u. Still haven't gotten my roommate. Ttyl. -Lily" Finally, she put her pajamas on and turned off her lamp to go to bed.

Lily looked up to see a pretty blonde girl coming into the dorm. This must be her roommate! "Hi, what's your name?" she asked. "I'm Lily. I'm 13 years old, and I have a sister named Amanda who's teaching the ballet class." Lily smiled.

"Oh, nice! I hope you don't mind, but I already took the bed on the left." Lily gestured to her side of the room, filled with posters of ballet dancers. "I love ballet! I think my sister got me into it." She laughed.

"Well, she's staying in an apartment and I can only take this much of her sometimes." Lily said, making a little sign with her finger and thumb that looked like a "pinch" of something.

"Hmm.. Three days? I really can't remember. Classes haven't started yet, so I don't really keep track." Lily laughed. ((Want me to find a pic of what the dorm could look like?))

"No, I think the headmistress arranges that." Lily said. ((OK i'll find one))

((Thanks)) "Yes, I got a scholarship. First, because I'm a good dancer. Second, because my sister's teaching, so she has some say." Lily smiled.

"Hmmm... Not really. She'll never tell me I'm good at something because of course, she's my older sister." Lily rolled her eyes and sat on her bed.

"13 years old, how old are you?" Lily said as she pulled her hair out of her ponytail.

"Oh, cool!" Lily said. "I'm going to change out of my dance clothes for a sec." Lily disappeared into the closet and came out in jeans and an Aeropostale tee shirt.

"Yeah, I'll be doing jazz and of course ballet, and I brought my camera with me, so maybe I could take photos and make collages." Lily smiled. She loved photography.

"Do you have a camera?" Lily asked Aria. "Also, do you like the Wii? Because I brought Just Dance 2014 with me." Lily holds up a video game and grins.

"Well, I brought my Wii too, so I'll just plug it in and we can play!" Lily ran to get her black Wii and remotes. She plugged it in to the TV and put the Just Dance disk in.
