Badgerstar walked out of her den. organizing hunting patrols.

Wolfnose padded over.

"Would you like to lead a patrol, Wolfnose?" Badgerstar asked.

"Um, sure"

"Okay, who would you like on your patrol?" She asked.

"I don't really care."

"I suggest taking Rainfall and Leafclaw with you."

"I'll do what you want me to."

"Ok, than please go find them and take them on the dawn patrol with you."

"Right" she went off.

Badgerstar stood there, still surprised that she was leader now and she had token over her mom's job, a tear went down her cheek. Her, leader of ShadowCLan, the ones who have had the worst past and were called 'evil'. she hated it, her clan suffered from the past! She was gonna forget about the past, and make a good future for ShadowClan to be known as the good guys for once.

Lightear watched the sunrise from a clearing close to the thunderclan camp.

In Shadowclan, Quailstalker was thinking of mice.

Wolfnose led a border patrol.

Badgerstar walked over to Quailstalker, "How's it going?"

" Prey seems to have dissapeared, all I could catch was this." Quailstalker replied, handing over a beetle.

Stillriver was sorting his herbs. "Moonpaw," he called. "We need Catmint!" he turned back to his herbs. "I won't let cats die this leaf-bare." he spat out the ending. he bowed his head as he remembered last leaf-bare, the leaf-bare his mentor and parents died.

Moonpaw stood. "I'll go get them now." She turned and padded out.

"That is a very big problem, Quailstalker. I will try to get on to that." Badgerstar meowed.

Wolfnose came into camp.

Badgerstar saw Wolfnose and ran over to him(?). "Did you find any prey?" She pressed.

"I wasn't cheeking, come to think about it, it was fairly quiet." ((we'll say that it is...))

((kk, r u dragon cave life boat, 'cause we could rp there)) "Oh, great." Badgerstar muttered. "Is anyone else in camp besides you? Because I think I'll call a clan meeting."

((no, But I could be... I no have dragon cave...)) "Not that I know of."

((u should join it)) "Oh. Okay than." Badgerstar said. "I'm going on a hunt, can you please stay here and guard the camp?" Badgerstar asked.

"Thanks, Wolfnose." With that, Badgerstar headed out into the woods.

Quailstalker got another beetle.

Badgerstar looked at the dead beetle. "That may feed a kit." She meowed, knowing they needed something more than beetles.

" Well hey, you try finding prey, it's dissapeared!" Quailstalker hissed.

Badgerstar looked at Quailstalker. "I didn't mean to offend you." She meowed, she pricked her ears for the slightest sign of prey. She sighed.

Suddenly something fell, Quailstalker caught it.... a leaf.

Badgerstar glanced at the leaf.

Quailstalker hissed in annoyance.

Badgerstar stalked through the grass and heard a russle, prey!she thought. turns out it was just another cat. Fox dung! she thought.

Quailstalker managed to find a scrawny mouse and then padded to get his own food.

Badgerstar ran back to camp.

Wolfnose looked up.

Quailstalker hissed, besides his mouse, there was no food!

Wolfnose padded up.

Quailstalker was furious.

"What's wrong?"

Badgerstar called a clan meeting and waited for the cats to gather around.
