Derek's side of the room:

Ariel followed Eric. She wasn't sure where they were going but when they got to the dormitories she began to slow down. She wasn't sure if this was a good idea. "Where are we going?" She asked even though she already knew the answer.

She hesitated in the doorway for a second before entering all the way. When he showed her the picture she smiled. "Perfect." She glanced around the room. It fit him. It reminded her of home.

She walked around his side of the room looking at all his belongings. It was so weird seeing things that reminded her of home. "I really like your dorm." She said picking up a shell. "It reminds me of home."

"You lived in a castle next to the sea?" She asked. It was weird that they had so much in common considering she was a mermaid and he was human. Then she remembered her conversation with Jasmine. "I made a friend."

"Jasmine. She's really nice and I promised her she could meet you." Ariel said. She was still exploring his room. "Oh and she said something else..." She furrowed her brow. "Oh yeah! As a good friend I must ask you if you have any single friends."

(Okay I'm goin to bed now:) just post and I will post when I wake up)

Ariel smiled and shrugged. "All I had to do was ask. It was never stated that I had to get her someone." She said. "And I would love to meet your friends as well. I need some friends. You and Jasmine are my only ones." She finally turned back and looked at him.

Ariel smiled. "I know. I'm just a little socially awkward when it comes to talking to people." She walked over to him and stared up into his gorgeous blue eyes. "I like how you have so much faith in me."

She smiled. "Thanks." She looked around again. "So what are we going to do now?" She asked focusing back on him.

She glanced out the window noticing that it was getting late. She did want to go anywhere on campus. She decided to just stay here until she had to go to her own dorm. "We can stay her. What do you have to do in here?" She asked looking around again.

She shakes her head. "Electronics and water don't mix." She teased. She may have had a phone but she barely even knew how to work it. A computer was a whole different ball game.

She watched fascinated. "So you can do anything on it?" She asked. It was hard to believe that something like this could access everything and anything you wanted.

She turned her wide eyes on him. "How is that possible?" She asked. This seemed so unreal yet it was real.

(It's okay)

She nodded. She wasn't sure how to process this information. "What else can you do on it?" She asked touching the thing he had been moving. She didn't know what it was called but she was to embarrassed to ask.

"Draw and paint?" She asked skeptical. She didn't see how a drawing on the computer could be the same as one done by hand.

She had to admit that it was pretty cool but she preferred having a pencil in her hand and the feel of paper beneath it. She watched in fascination though as the colors filled the screen.

She smiled down at him. "Thank you for showing me." She said. She was standing next to him and he was sitting in a chair so she had to lean down to kiss him. She placed a cautious hand on his bare shoulder and kissed him gently.

She wasn't used to intimacy so she was still hesitant to do anything, but kissing Eric made her forget all of her awkwardness. She slid her hand across his shoulders. She moved in front of him standing between his legs.

Se made a content noise and kissed him back. His bare skin felt warm compared to her hands and she relished in his warmth.

She kept her eyes closed while she caught her breath. When she was finally in control of her rapid breathing and pounding heart she opened her eyes to look at his handsome face.

She lightly touched her fingers to her lips. They were most likely swollen from that passionate kiss. That had been her favorite one so far. Ariel smiled softly at him.

She sighed and pressed their foreheads together. "That..." She started. "Was amazing." She breathed. She felt her face flame but didn't look away from him.

She smiled and kissed his cheek. She crawled into his lap and curled around him loving the feel of his arms around her. Her body relaxed around into him.

Her eyes began drifting shut. She jerked awake not wanting to fall asleep just yet. "Talk to me." She slurred. "I don't want to fall asleep."

"Anything. What was your life like living in the castle?" She asked. She was fighting the sleep that threatened to drag her down.

"That's it? Boring?" She said closing her eyes again. She had hoped he had other things to share with her. Her body began to relax and she soon fell asleep.

(Time skip?)

Ariel blinked open her eyes and momentarily forgot where she was. She rolled over and felt a warm body next to her. She froze. Turning her head she saw that Eric was asleep next to.

She smiled. He was so peaceful when he was asleep. She gently ran her fingertips over his face trailing down to trace his lips. He had come to care for him more than she thought possible.

Ariel caught her breath when he smiled in his sleep. Oh what she would give to know what he was dreaming about. She hasn't had the chance to study him in this much detail.

She gasps when he grabbed her. She place a hand on his chest and felt his heart beat steady and strong. She sighed and snuggled closer basking in his warmth.

She giggled. "Good morning Eric." She said smiling back at him. He was cute when he fist woke up.

She laughed. "Glad I could be of service." Se joked. She snuggled closer and placed her head on his chest. "You're a comfy pillow too."

She inhaled at the contact if their lips. His lips were so soft. Her eyes fluttered shut and she melted into him. She felt tingly all over and don't want that feeling to end.

She giggled and lay back on his bed. She should go back to her dorm and get ready for the day but she didn't want to leave yet. She was enjoying his company.

Her eyes trailed over his toned stomach and chest before going back to his face. She blushed when he grinned at her but smiled anyways. "What are your plans for today?" She asked.

She smiled. "That sounds like a good plan." She agreed. She wanted to spend as much time as possible with him as she could.

"I should probably go to my dorm first though before we do anything." She said. She was in need if a shower. "I need to take a shower and get ready for the day." She was blushing now.

She was blushing the color of her hair now. She cleared her throat. "That's okay. I think I can manage." She knew he was just joking but sometimes it was weird since she was so knew to dating.

She nodded and got up too. She placed a hand on his arm and stood on her tiptoes placing a light kiss on his cheek before heading to her own dorm.

When Ariel was freshly showered and dressed she made her way back to Eric's dorm. She smoothed down her blouse before knocking on his door.

When Eric opened the door Ariel's face instantly brightened. Then her eyes traveled the length of his body and she blushed. "Oh... Um... I can come back." She stuttered.

She was the color of her hair when she walked into his room. She went and sat in his computer chair and waited for him to get dressed. She was wondering what he had planned for today.

She rolled her eyes when he came back in the room shirtless. Again. "Don't you own a shirt?" She asked innocently.

She grinned. "Oh I am. I just think you should put on a shirt if we are leaving the dorm." She said. "I wouldn't want the other girls to have a heart attack while staring at you."

She rolled her eyes again and swiveled in the chair waiting for him. "So what did you have planned?" She asked curious.
