Wow! No one else has posted anything. Book one was okay but not great so I was putting off book two till I had nothing better to read. It got moved up my list because I needed a steam punk robot for a challenge :) I really enjoyed book two and am now recommending this series for my 13 year old niece.

I am almost done with the first book just like the Parasol series these audios are very good.

I did them on audio too and agree, they were very well done.

I'm reading book 2 now. I don't know why but its slow going for me. Probably because I want to read a kissy sort of book, so I may set it aside and go off and read a big girls sort of book. The kind with smooches everywhere.

But, I do like it so far. I think I may like these more than the parasol proctorate. Can someone tell me how Sidheag is related to Maccon and is she related to Alexia at all?

Those names sound familiar and I think he might be her uncle.I will have to read the Parasol books again.

Finally decided to pick up the second book I ended up not really liking the first I just didn't enjoy the characters as much but I'm willing to give them another try.

I like to read this when I'm at work and only have enough time to read a few pages at a time. I never get time to get fully invested. It's just enough to keep me reading, but not so much I refuse to put it down. If that makes any sense...

Totally. I've had a few books like that, I use them for doctor visiting time.

Im on the third book I liked the second book well enough certainly better than the Prudence book I tried to read.

Another book in the series is now coming out.

I'm not sure if it will follow the same story line as I thought this was supposed to just be a trilogy.
