Colleen | 172 comments Wow! No one else has posted anything. Book one was okay but not great so I was putting off book two till I had nothing better to read. It got moved up my list because I needed a steam punk robot for a challenge :) I really enjoyed book two and am now recommending this series for my 13 year old niece.

Tya | 846 comments I'm reading book 2 now. I don't know why but its slow going for me. Probably because I want to read a kissy sort of book, so I may set it aside and go off and read a big girls sort of book. The kind with smooches everywhere.

But, I do like it so far. I think I may like these more than the parasol proctorate. Can someone tell me how Sidheag is related to Maccon and is she related to Alexia at all?

Those names sound familiar and I think he might be her uncle.I will have to read the Parasol books again.

I like to read this when I'm at work and only have enough time to read a few pages at a time. I never get time to get fully invested. It's just enough to keep me reading, but not so much I refuse to put it down. If that makes any sense...

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 2445 comments Totally. I've had a few books like that, I use them for doctor visiting time.

Whitney (whitneychakara) | 1272 comments Im on the third book I liked the second book well enough certainly better than the Prudence book I tried to read.

Another book in the series is now coming out. Manners & Mutiny (Finishing School, #4) by Gail Carriger

I'm not sure if it will follow the same story line as I thought this was supposed to just be a trilogy.
