This Lullaby discussion

The book " This Lullaby" is a about a girl named Remy. It is her last summer before she moves to California to attend Stanford. Remy is a girl who does not believe in love. She has had many boyfriends in her time but none of them can compare to Dexter. Dexter is nothing like any of the boys she has dated and he does not fit the profile for her ideal boyfriend. He is a slob and is very persistent. Remy just can not shake the feelings she has for Dexter. Could all her boy troubles be because of her mothers influence on her life, considering she is on husband number five, or could it be because she was let down by her father after he moved away and later had a heart attack and died. Remy has the support of her best friends Lissa, Chloe, and Jess throughout the summer. They help each other through the rough times like the breakup of Lissa and her boyfriend.
