Notes/Helpful Tips:

the most effective way of hatching:

amount of Clicks You need: at least 10- the more clicks, the faster it hatches. there can be less, but it won't hatch as fast. it doesn't need clicks, though. you can have 2 clicks and it'll still hatch.

Views: A WHOLE LOT. You need at least 400. if you have any less, then your egg will die. you can have more too, so it will start hatching.

Unique views: at least 15 or more.

note: your egg will not hatch until it only has about 3.25 days left. It will start cracking and everything, but it wont become a hatchling until then.

How to get views/unique views/clicks:

Views: whenever someone looks at your scroll, it adds one view to each of your hatchling/egg's views. It adds one view when you refresh the page. ((i used to do this for hors to get my eggs to hatch. xD))

Unique views: post your egg around in different forums. when someone looks at it, it counts as an unique view. the more you post your egg, the more unique views. they are only given one per person.

Clicks: you get clicks when a person views the dragon when they click on the link/code. these are also only given one per person.

NOTE: your dragons CAN get sick. for eggs, its called a softshell, and for hatchlings it says that the hatchling appears sick. this is one of 2 reasons-

Type A: this is most common. Your dragon got too many views in a short time.

Type B. there are more clicks than unique views (which is like impossible since you have to view it before clicking)

to fix it-
A. just hide the egg/hatchling from being seen in the actions selection.

B. spread around the picture without the link until there are more unique views than clicks. DO NOT HIDE IT.

Also:

you know how you can't get anymore eggs if you have 4 or more eggs or hatchlings? well, here's a nifty trick:

Instead of letting all your eggs hatch into 4 hatchlings, get more eggs when some have already hatched. If you wait for all of them to grow up, you can't get anymore eggs.
