Demi lays on her stomach in her front yard and plays checkers by herself, moving the pieces without touching them.

"Hey, Demi!" Em says walking up her driveway.

"Hey, Em!" Demi said and stopped focusing on her game. "Whats up?"

"Not much, just saw you playing chess or whatever." Em says

Demi laughs. "Yep. I was just playing over here by myself. Wonder who's gonna win?"

"hmmmm, Maybe me!" Em walks over and moves a piece. "Checkmate!"

Demi laughs. "All hail the chess queen!"

Em laughs

Alex saw Demi and Em playing chess and went over to them. "Hey guys!" she called.

Demi smiled. "Hey, Alex!"

"Hey!" Em says.

Alex sat down and said,"Who's winning?"

Demi rolled her eyes. "Who always wins?"

"You."

Demi stopped. "Oh, right." she laughed. "No, Em won this time."

Alex said,"Yay! Go Em!"

Demi laughed again. She put all of the things back into the box, not bothering to touch them.

Alex laughed.

"So, whats up?"

"I was just with the circle."

"Oh, cool. What'd they say this time?" Demi had missed this meeting.

"That you better not miss the next meeting or else, you'll die."

"Well, I'll probably go then. Since dieing isn't very high on my to do list."

Em looks at them strangly

Alex laughed,"You know they don't kill people."

Demi laughed. "I know."

Alex laughed.

Demi sighed and looked at the flowers, rearranging them.

Alex laughed and said,"Why don't you get off you butt and do it by hand?"

"Cuz she's lazy!" Em said coughing

"Because my butt likes it here." Demi said stubbornly, a smile playing at the edge of her lips.

Alex laughed at that.

Em smilies

Demi laughed also. "So, what now?" She asked, moving on to the next set of flowers.
