Emily sat by the creek behind her house in her half and half form,. (half and half form= human body but with ears and a tail)

Dan went wading in the creek behind his house and walked sown until he saw a girl sitting out, "Hey!" he says waving.

Emily smiled at him. "Hi," she said. She changed back into her human form quickly. Oh my gosh. What if he noticed? I'm such a freak. she thought. Emily wasn't aware that there were other shapeshifters in the area.

Dan asks, "Is this your house,..." he trails off. He didn't know her name

"Yep." Emily says, and smiles again. "Hi I'm Emily." She held out her hand.

"I'm Dan. "He says holding out his hand. he thinks+ and you are really pretty.

"Do you live around here, too?" Emily asks

"Yeah just down the creek" He says pointing

Emily smiled."Cool!" She looked out over the water again, studying the forest.

Dan just looks at her, "Im gonna go. OK?"

Emily turns her attention back to him. "Oh, um , okay." She smiles. "It was nice meeting you."

"You to." Dan starts to walk back to his house

Emily watches him go. Once she is pretty sure he is gone, she changes back into her half and half form.

Dan makes sure Emily can't see him and changes into a lion

Emily shifts into a leopard and quietly paces back and forth by the creek. Thinking to herself.

Dan is splashing around in the creek and jumping

Yuki walked along the creek, in human form. She had just moved here and was tired. She hoped this town would be better then the last one. She shuddered.

Emily sees the lion jumping around. Thats wierd. I've never seen one of those out here before. She observed from a distance but did not go any closer.

Dan, as a lion, sees the girl and turns back to a human

Emily sees the girl and quickly changes back into a human. She jumps nimbly up the hill and over her fence, into the backyard.

Yuki had been observing both animals and dropped the stone that she had been ready to skip. They'er both like me...

Dan sees the girl looking at him and waves

Emily sat in her room, looking out the window to the girl. She sees the girl drop the stone and figures that she saw her change back into a human and that she was scared. freak, freak, freak she keeps repeating in her mind. I'm such a freak.

"Hi...youre a...Lion...Right?" Yuki smiles.

Dan looks at he, "Excuse me?"

"You heard me, youre a lion. You might want to make sure youre alone before you shift though. Hi Im Yuki, Im a wolf."

"Uhhhh... Hi I'm Dan, and a lion, well u knew that." Dan stammers

Yuki giggles. "And you know that girl you were talking to?"

"Yeah Emily?"

Emily stoood at the top of the stairs and lept all the way down. She walked into the kitchen and poured a bowl of cereal then took it into the living room and turned on the T.V.

Emily kept looking out the front window. Any minute she expected that girl she saw to come running to her door and scream, calling her a freak. Finally, she got up, turned some music up loud, and started to clean. She always cleaned when she was nervous or uptight. She was glad for the distraction it provided.

"Is she a wolf too?" Dan asks

"No. Shes a leopard!!" Yuki starts to walk towards Emily's house "Com'on!!"

Emily starts singing along with the music. She has a wonderful voice but is way too shy to sing in front of anybody else. Someday I will she thinks to herself as she is cleaning the kitchen.

Yuki hears Emily singing and knows the song. from outside she sings along. ((Loudly))

Emily freezes. She peeks out the window and sees the girl standing there. Oh great.. she thinks and puts her head in her hands, only for a moment. Then, she opens the door and steps out, looking for her.

Yuki stops singing and smiled "Hi Im Yuki, and youre Emily..the leopard...Right?"

Emily blushed a bright red. "Um...yes."

"Im a wolf ~_~ Nice ta meet cha"

"Hello." Emily said timidly. She was still not convinced that Yuki wasn't going to turn around and start screaming.

Yuki stepped up and hugged her. "Ive never had a leopard as a freind be4! Ive had a...elephant, cat, dog, turtle, fish, ect. ect....but never a leopard!! Were sssoooo going to be BFFs!!"

Emily hugged her back awkwardly. "Um...yea! I've never met a wolf before either" She said, trying not to let her voice shake.

Yuki smiled and let go. Things in this town were Deffantly going to be better then the last 1

Leah looked around. She was in her panther form. She quickly changed back in to human form when she saw some teens talking. But Leah was sure some one saw her. She started to run to her house.

Dan just stands there while Emily and Yuki talk. "Hey Emily Im a lion." He says

Emily jumped at his voice, she hadn't noticed he was there. "Really?" she asked, her voice brightening. She smiled, she hadn't known there were others in her area.

"Yeah, Yuki found us in the woods."
