At colleges, binge drinking is associated with rape. Is it wrong to advise young women to avoid getting too drunk?

Getting "too drunk" is a problem no matter your age or sex... When your inhibitions are down, one thing could lead to another without you meaning for it to. The same thing goes for violence when drinking. One minute you are playign rough with a friend, next minute, someone pushes or hits too hard, and it's a real fight.

Whilst I don't think it's wrong to advise caution in any situation, I don't think it's the simply the responsibility of young women to avoid being raped. I think we should be aiming our messages where the blame lies - with the ones doing the raping.
