As Abigale walked along in the moon light the smell of burnt wood stung her nose. A far off sound made the hairs on her neck stand up. She crept down the street, cursing herself for not taking the car or the even the bus. A shrill scream echoed throught the night! Startled Abigale began to run. Horrable sounds followed her. She picked up her pase, her foot steps echoeing behind her. Suddenly she jerked. Abigale sat straight up, looking around, she realized she was in her bed. A bad dream. She shook it from her head and looked at her alarm clock. 4:30! She had to go! NOW.

Abigale dressed and comped her hair. Quickly she stuck it up in a bun and ran outside. She looked around then stopped. She ran back inside, grabbed her brief case, phone, and keys. Off she went to another grueling day of work.

Huffing, Abigale walked in the office. Her assistant hurring nod and looked down. "I know, I know. I'm late!"

Kat was walking in the park she felt someone behind her she didnt turn around though she kept walking and heard footsteps behind her

The footsteps were getting louder she finally turned around and screamed someone knocked her to the ground she hoped someone heard her she yelled again"HELP"the guy pulled out a knife

"HELP"screamed kat again the guy put the knife to her neck she pushed him off and got up she started to run the guy ran after her

((i know)) the guy tackled Kat again"get off me"she screamed she was closer to the campus now"HELP"she screamed again hoping someone heard her

((lol))the guy lost the knife and cussed at her he picked her up and hit her in the gut

((lol))Kat screamed and hit him back she ran in the campus to the girls dorm and hid

Kat looked up at the girls in the dorm she locked the door"dont go outside"she said

Abigale ran into the meeting. Sat down silently, knowing everyone's eyes were on her. "Well know that Miss Dashwood has finallly joined us, we may begin to talk about the defence attorny. They have selected Miss Dashwood, but I can asure you," He said looking straight at her, "If you are late again, you will be off the case." She nodded her head.

Listening intently to the description of the case, she finally heard the words she wanted to hear. "Miss Dashwood, you will meet the client in a few minutes." She smiled and stood, as everyone shuffled out of the room, she waited for her boss. He walked through the door, she followed. "Miss Dashwood, I must warn you, he is a little roudy." She sighed, "Well aren't all mass murderers?" The boss laughed a horse laugh and continued, "Yes, I suppose they are, but he is different, so take you time." Abigale sighed, she hated being a deffence attorney. But it brought home the dough. She just was frustrated that she proved guilty people inocent and put dangerous killers back on the street. "Well, I can handle him, I can handle them all. Never lost a case, remember." The boss continued down the halls, down to the underground part of the building, where they kept the defendants. "Corparate Law, instead I deal with murderers!" She whispered to herself.

Abigale walked down the hall until she reached a cell block. A voice, crackily and dry called out, "Hey Dashwood, you my new attorney?" Abigale swallowed and said, "Yes, and you must be my new client."

((what is with the all caps? It seems like you are yelling!))

The boss motioned for the gaurd to let the "killer" out. He sombered slowly. The gaurd grabbed his hands, put them in hand cuffs and then dragged him to the table, sat him down and barked an order for him to tell her what she wanted to know. Abigale sat on the other side of the table. "Okay listen kid, I know you are guilty, I don't want to know about what you did and why you did it. I want to know who else was with you, when you did it, and what is you alibi!"

((oh well no offense but it is kind of annoying and hard to read.))

The boy laughed. "Why don't we get to know each other first. My name is Darren Fletcher and..." Abigale cut him off, "You will tell me what I asked or else you will be spending your life behind bars!"

The boy laughed harshly, "You are so pushy!" He smiled. She grimmaced. "I'm done with him, you can rott for all I care," She stood up. The boy laughed and waited to be pulled away. Abigale sat back down, "You're good." She said with a little bit of respect. "Thank you Miss Dashwood. Now as I said you are pushy but I guess iI could ablige to your questions"

((I am an attorney so you wouldn't get it, it's just like I am trying to make him do what I want but he knows what I am trying to do."

"I had two others with me, but they made it out obviously undedected. Sam Wheeler and Eli Jones. It was late Saturday, around 5 o'clock. And you are the attorney, so you make my alibi." She sighed. "That's a start kid, but you got a long way to go."

She nodded at the gaurd and Feltcher was taken back into his cell. She stood up, a grave look on her face as she and the boss headed back upstairs.

Fletcher called out, "I'll find you baby, we still have some things to discuss." Abigale shuttered at the thought of being completely alone with him. She rubbed her temples.

Kat walked to her class she was alone again the man came up to her and pushed her to the ground kat screamed hoping someone heard her

The boss laughed. "Frustrating work I know, but you have to love the money it brings in." Abigale, still messaging her temples said, "That is the only reason I got into this buisness."

Kat got up "leave me alone"she said to the guy running away she got pretty far and started to walk again it started to rain Kat couldnt see anything the rain was coming down to hard she heard footsteps but didnt know where they were coming from she got confused the next thing she knew she was in the hospital

What does he want? She thought. Nothing stupid, he is just trying to get to you. This was so annoying. Hey you have never lost a case. Abigale didn't feel to good. She started to feel woozy, she wasn't seeing clearly, she knew if she kept walking she was going to trip. "Hey..umm... boss...." She blacked out.

Kat felt dizzy"w-what happened"Kat said
"a guy hurt you and another guy called the cops"said the doctor
"is the guy still out there"Kat asked
the doctor turned around"yes"he said
she started to get nervous
"are you ok"the doctor asked calling help into the room
"No"kat said

She came too. First she hear distant vioces calling her name, softly saying "Abigale, Miss Abigale, can you hear me?" Abigale's eyes fluttered open. "I don't feel good," She leaned over the side of the bed and threw up. The docter smiled and felt her forehead. "You blacked out, but you just have a bad fever right now."

Kat looked horrified"He is still out there"she said
"Yes"said the doctor
"He is going to kill me"she said with terror in her eyes

Abigale heard the frantic voice of a girl near by. She screamed. "Stop it! It hurts my head! Please make it stop!" Abigale's head felt like it was on fire. Every sound, sounded as if it were a drum banging on the inside of her head.

Kat never thought about how she would die but she started to think about it how much will i beg and plead for them not to kill me what would i do for them not to kill me questions came in her head but no answers

Abigale could stand it no longer. She sat up. Her head felt like it was going to burst. "I am leaving." Suddenly crowds of docters and nurses swarmed in on her hushing her, telling her to lie down. "No, it hurts and this place is way to loud!" She whined. Then a voice broke through them all, strangly it soothed her head. He emerged. Her boyfriend took her hand. "Lie down baby. I told you the stress would get to you, go to sleep, I am right here for you."

Kat was new she didnt know anyone really she sat in her room thinking knowing she was going to die

Abigale put her head on her pillow gently. The doctor whispered someing to her boyfriend then looked at her and said, "This young man is right, the stress of you work is getting to you. I am going to go check on my other patient, she is here in the room with you, so you will get to know her. I will be back and I will give you something to sooth you head."

The doctor came over to Kat
"he is going to kill me you have to find him"she said silently
"i know"said the doctor
he gave her a shot to help her

Abigale felt his cool lips on her forehead. Her head was slightly better. It still hurt though. The docter came over and put a cold ice pack on Abigale's head and let her drift into a deep sleep.

Kat looked over at Abigale and her boyfriend she smiled and looked away nobody here to care for me she thought

"Dancing bears, painted wings, things I almost remember," tears spilled down her cheeks, as she remembered. "What is it?" a hushed voice asked, wiping the tears from her face. "Just the baby..." Abigale's voice trailed off. "Oh...you shouldn't think about that..."

Kat smiled at there happy realtionship and thought back to herself nobody will care if i die

Abigale's tears flowed harder. "But, it's hard not too!" She sobbed, she didn't care if anyone heard her. "Hush, you shouldn't think about that, there will always be another." Abigale sobbed again, "I don't want another! I wanted her, I never even got to see her face!"

Kat heard her and a tear ran down her face to she looked at her she wanted to say something but didnt know what to say

"So this is what is bugging you?" Abigle sighed, her breathing shallow, "No, it was just the stress, and the new client I have is siply terrifying. No, i didn't even remember anything until I hear the song." Johnny paused, "What song?" Abigale's eyes fluttered. Before she passed out she was able to say one last thing, "Once...upon..a dec...ember."

Tears came down Kats face even more "nobody cares for me"she said hoping nobody heard her

Johnny called the nurse to the room, telling her what had happened. He asked her to do a ultra sound while she was asleep, and he would tell her when she had awakes.

Kat knew it know"nobody likes me nobody cares for me nobody would care if i died"she said louder

Abigale was moved into another room for an ultra sound and Johnny of coarse went with her.
