Sky High discussion

This place nullifies all powers.

The moment Rio stepped him, he felt the energy drain out of him and the feeling of water left. "Damn it," he said, but the words bounced back to him, ringing in his ears. He knew it was then wise not to speak or else he would be hearing the same thing over and over, until he was released.

Yi uneasily sat at a corner, wistfully thinking about fire, his most favourite subject to think about. To make it even worse, he was in the same room as Rio, which sucked.. Twice.

Rio sat at the other corner, looking at his hands and tried to summon water but the moment he tried to do that, his hands hurt immensely and he stopped trying. Stupid detention rooms...he lamented.

Yi closed his eyes, going to sleep rather peacefully, and he kind of hoped Rio would just do the same and not bother him because he wasn't in the mood.

Rio didn't fall asleep because he was too frustrated and he stood up, clenching his hands into fists. Walking over to the side of the place, he punched the wall which jolted his hand with a sharp pain but he did not cry out. At least it released some of his frustration.

Still asleep, Yi had an expression of being disturbed, which quickly faded as his dreams were full of fire which almost immediately calmed him down.

Rio couldn't believe how calm Yi could be but he was probably dreaming of fire surrounding him or something. Rio sat back down and examined his knuckles which was slightly bruised but otherwise alright. He couldn't heal because of the lack of water and he gritted his teeth out of angriness.

Yi woke, leaning on the wall and just kept thinking of fire, when the surrounding atmosphere got warmer. He stared down at his hand, which had started to flicker with flames in surprise.

Rio turned his head in surprise and the air got warmer and he tried to think of water, to cool the place down but it didn't work, at all. "Arg!" he punched the wall again and willed the spirit in him to give him power, but it didn't. For once.

"Well… That's weird.." Yi muttered, switching the fire off and the air started to very slowly cool down.

The door opened and a girl about 16 walked in, a smirk hidden beneath her mask. "Nine times. A personal record" Kage took note to herself, not noticing Yi and Rio.

The headmistress suddenly called Yi over and he came, then she brought out a small chain which she quickly cuffed around his right hand. "This is your inhibitor. You can only use your powers in a weak level." She said, before sweeping out of the room.

Yi stared at the cuff, hitting his head on the wall behind him with a frustrated groan.

Rio called out, "Hey so can we go now?" He was so ready to get out of the room and let the girl take their place. He looked at the chain and chuckled lowly, tucking his hands into his pockets, "Awesome. Now Jet can kill you over and over as much as he likes to do it."

"You'll stay there until school ends" Came the reply and the door was locked again.

"Heartless idiots" Yi cursed, attempting to use fire but only his hair colour changed to a slight blueish colour.

When the door closed, Rio's face was as dark as clouds that were about to release rain and then he decided to keep his mouth shut because when Yi spoke, the words echoed back which was really annoying. He hoped the girl knew how to shut up because if she didn't, he would send water to drown her when they got out.

((OH I'M LAUGHING MY HEAD OFF.. KAGE WILL START TO ANNOY RIO WITH YI!!!!!))

"Hi, I'm Kage." Kage said to Yi, who noticed Rio's face and grinned, knowing he hated the echoes. So in the end Kage and Yi just talked about random things about the school. Echoes were everywhere and both Yi and Kage stifled their explosive laughing at Rio's expression.

Rio sighed and even that could be heard and his face was filled with anger and hatred. Someone that was not peace was irritating him and even years of training to control his anger was not helping. "I'm so going to stuff water up your nose," he shot Kage a look and ignored Yi.

"I'll see you try that" Kage challenged back, her eyebrows raised.

Yi heard sounds of footsteps and apparently their session was over. So they walked out, and Yi squinted at the light.

"You're lucky you're a girl, if not, I'll actually do that," he smirked, not really wanting to stuff water in her nose. Then he walked out, feeling the surge of energy back and he let his hands surround by water. "Ahh.. its nice, isn't it? Yi?"

"I. Hate. This. Inhibitor" Yi growled, clenching his fists and only managing a few flames. In his frustration, he kicked the wall and it dented again.

"Jeez people these days. Apparently the FBI didn't consider that when they did experiments on me" Kage rolled her eyes, walking away from the two.

"You look very retarded you know that?" Rio teased Yi and showed off his powers by letting the hurricane do its job. He watched as Kage walked away and simply ignored that, before strengthening his powers.

Yi slammed his head against the wall, his powers being restrained. He didn't like it at all, and kept o trying, until finally stronger flames appeared and he looked at the inhibitor, making the connection of metal and fire, then he started to heat it up.

"WILL SOMEONE TURN DOWN THE TEMPERATURE HERE?!" Kage yelled from further behind them, when she actually walked forward.

Rio wasn't all that surprised that she was behind them and he willed the temperature to get cooler as he summoned some water for condensation to take place. Well, condensation needed a cool surrounding so the air bent to his will and he smiled inwardly at how Yi was struggling.

"Thanks so much" Kage said sarcastically, walked straight ahead and phasing, walking right into Rio and walking on.

Yi sighed, cooling down and he sat on one of the benches there was, shaking his head at the inhibitor. He hoped that Jet wouldnt come near him today. Not when he was in this situation.

"You're so welcomed," he said, rolling his eyes and felt a cold feeling as she walked right through his body. "Evil girl," he joked. Then he looked and hoped that Jet would come so he could kill Yi again.

((Gotta go, be back in an hour I think))

"Ha. Nice sarcasm there" Kage said from where she was. Then feeling extremely mischievous she copied Rio's power, phasing an appeared behind him then splitting him with a water ball. Afterwards she then phased and ended right in front of Rio.

Jet happened to be walkin alon, then he saw an inhibitor on Yi and he grinned. He then waited for Yi to stand up, then began rapidly circling around him. Eyes widening, Yi began to choke and cough, almost blacking out.

Rio let a gasp escape his throat and he laughed afterwards. He never knew she could do that, then he fixed his attention back to Yi and Jet. "Why hello there Jet, I just love what you are doing," Rio raised both eyebrow and grinned.

Finally jet stopped, glaring at Yi and kickin him hard, walking next to Rio. "Why not? He has an inhibitor"

Yi groaned in pain, his vision blurring and his entire body aching.

Laughing, Rio crossed his arms over his chest and smiled at the agony Yi was in. Lack of oxygen, as a weakness, that was really big. "You should do that more often," he told Jet.

Finally regaining some oxygen, Yi sat up, coughing again, utterly tired. He slowly stood, and walked to the entrance of the school where he kept on walking to the edge, looking down. It was dismissal time and he could just easily fly down like he usually did, but now even that hurt him.

"You mean.. almost kill him?" Jet asked.

"Yeap, anyways he can always revive when he's lacking of oxygen," Rio shrugged and he waved goodbye before walking out of the school, to his house.

Jet shrugged, walking away, thinking about the amount of times he had beaten Yi today.

Yi sighed and sending the inhibitor a final glance he jumped down, hurtling down to his house, landing not quite softly on the landing pod he somehow had on the roof of his house. He tested out his powers, and found that without being on Sky High, they worked perfectly well. Going into his house, suddenly the inhibitor was ripped away and it fell to the floor. Grinning, Yi picked it up and switched it off, making it seem it was still on as he wore it, so he could fool Jet and Rio tomorrow. His powers were surging through him, his eyes glinted insanely with fire.

Shouko walked in the room and sat in the middle of the floor indian-style. She sighed and stared at the wall while thinking of why she constantly came here for speaking her mind.
