Hi everyone, I'm new.
I read the book and loved it, but to be honest there were things that kind of threw me off. I'm going to mention said things, but I will try not to spoil anything major and keep everything as vague as possible. But just in case SPOILER ALERT!!!

(view spoiler)[First off, I didn't really like how it was entirely from Kane’s POV (Ok so that one wasn't very vague).
Also the actual writing confused me a little. At one point Percy said something along the lines of, "I stuck him pretty good with my sword".
Huh!? "Stuck him?" Since when does Percy talk like that?

The other part which kind of confused me was Percy's use of power near the end of the book. Sure it was effective in its distracting qualities, but if Kane hadn't been able to become a falcon, he never would have gotten to the objective. Percy didn't know Kane could do that, I just think that Percy would have(should have) done something more effective. (hide spoiler)]

But don't get me wrong, I loved the book, I know Rick wrote it for all the fans, but it just seems to be lacking his usual dedication and quality.
