Zila walks alone the waters edge, peering at herself. She smiles lightly, seeing her little cub following her.
Joseph sat at the egde of the lake, looking into the water. He smiled a sort of wry smile as he saw his reflection, finding it slightly amusing that he could see his reflection in water but not a mirror.
Zila picks up her cub smiling, saying in her usual quiet voice,"shadow, you're so goofy." The cub mewed at her happily. She smiles wider in return and kisses shadow's head.
Joseph looked around at the sound of Zila's voice, frowning slightly; he had thought that he was alone. He stood and began walking in the direction of her voice.
Zila sits on the grass, petting shadow lightly. The breeze blew softly through her hair and she almost purrs as much as shadow was. She blushes lightly, cutting off the sound completely. She looks out at the lake.
He walked over and leaned against a tree, watching Zila curiously and wondering how long it would be before she noticed him.
The hairs on the back of zila's neck stood up and she looks around. She sees a shadow leaning against a tree and tilts her head a little. She sniffs the air lightly.
((Sure))"Have you spotted me so quickly?" Joseph asked quietly, chuckling softly. He didn't move from his spot and instead kept his gaze on Zila, his lips turning up into a small smirk.
Jasmine ran to the lake, blood on her clothes, she was especially clumsy today. She had fallen out of five trees trying to trick the guardian dragons and se just needed to play with her powers to cool off.
Joseph's smirk quickly vanished and he tensed up as he could smell the blood on Jasmine's clothes. "Crap," he hissed through clenched teeth, his hands curling into fists at his sides. He closed his eyes and tried not to breath, but when he opened his eyes again they were tinged with red.
Jasmine got to the lake, luckily not falling into anything, she didn't hear the voices at first, she manipulated the water into droplets and cleaned her skin, the shirt was still bloody though. She started walking quietly to the voices.
Jasmine was human but she was immortal, she could live forever unless she was killed on purpose. She saw Joseph and she tensed up, she probably should change before he pounced...
Zila puts shadow onto the ground before shifting into a wolf. Her white fur seemed to glow lightly as she shook it out.
Jasmine ignited fire in her hand, she didn't know Zila yet.
"Who are you?" she asked, standing her ground.
Jasmine nodded and into the water quickly forming an air bubble around her, keeping her eyes on Zila suspiciously the whole time until she went underwater where she changed into a clean shirt.
Zila saw the fire and let electricity run through her body as she lays on the ground. She turns her head to shadow only to see him at the edge of the water about to fall in. The electricity stopped as she grabbed him by the scruff.
Immediately Joseph relaxed and he let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you," he said gratefully, stretching his arms and grinning. "What the bloody hell were you doing running around in blood anyway?"
Jasmine felt the electricity as she came out of the water, she immediately burned the shirt and blew the ashes into the forest. She used the earth element power to stop the electricity from spreading.
Jasmine turned to Joseph, "I fell out of five trees today, what do you expect?" she asked and she sighed, "Stupid dragons..." she said.
Zila looks at the two people. She didn't know anyone here, her being new and all. Shadow mewed softly and she smiles lightly, still holding him by the scruff.
Jasmine looked over at Zila, "Who's she?" she asked.
She sighed, "I'm Jasmine." she said and looked at him, Vamp. she thought to herself.
"And I'm Joseph. It's a pleasure to meet you," he replied, flashing her a smile in which his fangs were evident. He turned to Zila and chuckled.
"Zila, alright, nice to meet you too." she said and smirked as she saw what she did. She smiled at Joseph, "Nice fangs." she said.
Jasmine pulled her sleeve up, showing them her mark of immortality. A long ribbon that wound around her arm and began at her collar bone.
Zila sets shadow down and he tries to scamper away. His efforts foiled when she steps lightly on his tail.
Jasmine grinned at Joseph, "Mmhh." she nodded.
Shadow bit Zila and she winces. She shift back and grabs him. "Bad shadow." She scolds quietly to the little cub who snaps at her.
Jasmine smiled at the cub but then she heard Joseph's question, she cringed at the memory as they appeared in her skin very painfully after she had found out that her dad had been an angel. "After I found out who my dad was." she replied slowly, still remembering the pain.
((I'm logging off here soon so I'm getting zila out of this))Zila sighs softly and thumps the cubs nose softly before heading off to somewhere she didn't know of.
Jasmine saw Zila leave and sighed. ((Bye!)(
Joseph raised an eyebrow but said nothing, noticing how she had cringed. There was no sense in making her tell a story that she obviously wasn't fond of. He looked over at Zila in time to notice her walking off with her cub and chuckled lightly.
"How long have you been here?" she asked, pulling her sleeve down.
"Here as in existence, or here as in the forest?" he asked, cocking his head to the side in curiosity.
"As in on the island." she said and smiled.
Joseph chuckled and shrugged. "Time means little to me; after a while all the years start to blend together. I've been here for at least a hundred years though. How about yourself?"
"Only two years." she said, "Do you have a favorite place here?" she asked again as she formed a drawing of the waterfall in the water.
"It's got to be either the waterfall or the mountains," Joseph decided after a moment of thinking. "But almost every place here is quite remarkable."
She nodded, "Mine is the waterfall." she said and smirked, "Well I guess it's obvious because I'm a girl." she looked up at him, "Wanna go up there?" she asked.
