Persephone Books discussion

How is everyone doing on this one? I'm reading it for the second time and hoping to finish it in the next few days.

I downloaded "Miss Buncle Married", and can hardly wait to start it. I read "Miss Buncle" last year, so did not reread it.

I'm not rereading Miss Buncle's this time because I passed my copy to a friend, who gave it the enthusiastic reaction it deserves ;) after reading on a much needed vacation. A truly delightful book.

I am reading Miss Buncle Married at the moment! I read Miss Buncle's Book recently and have the third book ready to go.

I'm glad everyone has been enjoying Miss Buncle - it looks like we'll be reading The Two Mrs. Abbotts in the next few months! :)

I think the Miss Buncle Books are my favourites from Persephone so far-really accessible.

I just finished Miss Buncle’s Book and found it to be funny, entertaining and so, so charming. I am now a huge D.E. Stevenson fan. I am new to the group and to Persephone books, so I am having fun learning about these forgotten authors. I look forward to our next read.

I've yet to pick it up. I have read a few of her books so I'm looking forward to this one.
I'm sure you will find plenty to enjoy in the Persephone list. Enjoy.

I re-read and reviewed 'Miss Buncle', I don't think I will ever get tired of this book! love it!

I needed a break from Moby Dick so a reread of Miss Buncle’s Book seemed perfect, and the local library had it available as an ebook. Just as good the second time through.
