((We can write the prologue in normal writing, instead of letter...Or one of the girls is supposed to meat the other somewhere, and the other dosn't show up, but there's a letter there explaining that she moved.

((Ok! Let's Start!))
It was a Tuesday, and the two girls were meeting at their favorite spot, the park bench. It was old, and made of worn wood, with smooth black arm rests.

Lily walked towards where they were supposed to meet, but Anna was not there. The cold night air sent little wisps of gray breath out of Lily's mouth. She shivered, sitting on the bench. That's when she noticed the note.
A small pink manilla envelope sat where Anna should have been. Lily reached slowly for it.
A small pink manilla envelope sat where Anna should have been. Lily reached slowly for it.
She peeled open the envelope, reveling a blue sheet of paper with Anna's lacy scrawl on it:
Dear Lily,
I'm really sorry. Right now, I'm probly flying over the U.S...I'm really sorry I didn't tell you. We moved to California...because of Dad's job. I just couldn't find a way to say that I moved...this probly wasn't the best way to do it...but we had to leave. I really miss you,
Your friend,
Anna.
Dear Lily,

Your friend,
Anna.
Lily fought back tears as she carefully put away the letter and sat down on the bench. As soon as she sat down, she couldn't help it. She cried and cried, not caring who saw. Her whole world was torn apart. Lily was always shy, always the outcast. Anna had been her only friend.
Many miles away, on a large passenger plane, was Anna. She was crying, as they flew over the states. Everything was wrong, she'd left her home town, her freinds, and the stupid vent was blowing air in her face. The lights of small towns below her were glowing in the night, as she let the tears roll down her cheeks. "I'm sorry Lily." she whispered.
