YALS _NH discussion

Hi everyone! I noticed there weren't any discussions yet so I thought I'd start one. Since our screen names don't always indicate what library we're associated with, I'd love to know where everyone is!

I'm Katie and I work at the Wadleigh Memorial Library in Milford, NH. I've been the Young Adult/Reference Librarian for about a year. I like to read mostly horror/supernatural stuff but I love a good coming-of-age story.

Where does everyone live / work? What genres of books do you like?

I just realized how old this topic is! Anyway, I'm Kathy Watson from Kimball Library in Atkinson, NH. I have been here 6 years and worked myself into the nametag 'Teen Librarian' even though more of my job is marketing and promotion for the whole library.

I have never grown out of loving YA fiction. I particularly like edgy contemporary realism. I like good conversation in books and relational issues. Yeah, 'chick' books, but not the fluffy ones.
