The Novel - Lost in the City of Flowers

The heroine is a lonely girl with big dreams but little confidence who is tricked into traveling back in time to the Florence Renaissance. While she struggles to find her way home, she must work in a famous workshop as well as navigate the dangers of the city including the powerful Medici family. Along the way she forms a close friendship with Leonardo da Vinci and goes on adventures with other famous artists such as Sandro Botticelli and Pietro Perugino. In order to get back to New York City, Viola must solve the mystery of the missing Donatello sculpture, conquer her fears, and stay alive
