So is everyone here sticking to SF/F for their story?

I've got some ideas for several different types of stories, but for this I'm writing a fantasy.

I'm doing Science Fiction. Although it will likely turn out to be more Science Fantasy (Star Trek, Known Space, Old Man's War) since I didn't do any research into anything. I saw Gravity, although I'm not sure that counts.

Going fantasy since that's what I read the most. This is my first attempt writing it though (unless you count my little anthology entry i suppose).

I'm returning to the proto-steampunk world I wrote for my 2011 NaNoWriMo. I don't know if it'll stay proto-steampunk or if I'll advance far enough in time to make it true steampunk.

I'm still trying to decide because my story could fit into either one.

I'm doing YA Fantasy this time, which is usually what I do. Tried a mixture of sci-fi and fantasy once. That was an interesting change!

Post apocalyptic after everything's settled down, basically based on how things evolved after the fall of Rome but applied to America

Steampunk.

I actually shelved the two sf/f books I wanted to do and am doing a YA real world setting.

Fantasy of a kind, not sure what to call it. It has some dark-ish elements in it, but I'm not sure if it's going to be as dark as I thought :o

Dark fantasy/sci fi for me.

Mine is a postapocalyptic dystopia with some traditional fantasy tropes mixed in.

I'm trying SciFi vs Fantasy in mind. Someone's already shot a laser at a witch, so I got that going for me.
