Hello everyone,

My name is Nita but I can be found on GR, FB, and my blog as The BookChick.

I am a freelance editor for myself but recently started with a small press publising company, Soul Mate Publishing. As such, I'm able to offer publishing contacts to authors provided their book fits Soul Mate's "must have a happily-ever-after" policy :).

My preferred genre is romance (paranormal, contemporary, new adult, and romantica) but I enjoy suspense thrillers as well.

I have edited, beta read, critiqued, and copy edited for a several authors and publishers, including: Marissa Dobson with Sunshine Press, P.A. Lupton, Tina Carreiro with Time and Tide Publishing, E.R. Pierce, and many other currently unpublished authors.

I like to think of myself as a one-stop shop, partnerning with an author on whatever they might need.

I am flexible when it comes to the freelance fees I charge that are not associated with Soul Mate Publishing.

Just had my second novel edited and copy edited by Stephanie Albright.I was amazed at how much time and patience she took with my baby and how each sentence flowed with perfection after she was finished. She edits on google doc so you can look at her work and approve what you want changed and keep what you don't. Her prices are also well worth the time and detail she gives!
