The title says it all,what do you think?Do you think there will be a movie??Or a huge movie with like ALL the books?What are you guys thinking??

There is going to be a movie, it's a going to start filming after the Harry Potter movies are finished!!!! I'm soooo EXCITED!

I've heard the same thing about them wanting to wait until after HP. I believe Warner Brothers has bought the rights for it. I'm excited! It could make a great movie!

I think WB and the directors and such did a pretty good job on the Potter films. So I have hope for Septimus!

I'm excited too, but why would they wait until after HP is done?? (confused look) And also I was on septimusheap.com and it had a trailer, but it showed all four books. And you know on the back of books the have previews of what happens in words, that's what this trailer had. I'm not saying anyone is wrong it's just...I'm confused.

Maybe they want to wait so Septimus Heap can become a hit series like HP? Idk.

i think they've put all their money into marketing HP and they think that they'd be competing against themselves if they had both series out at the same time. I don't mind the wait if it means they'll put more work into the movies

I don't mind if they wait for the Magyk movie to come out, that means that I have more time to read Magyk over and and over again so I can see how much the movie is like the book!!!! I hate it when the movie isn't like the book!!!! And I always say the book is usually better than the movie.

I totally agree with Heather--I don't mind the wait if it means they'll put more work into the movies. I could wait forever for the Percy Jackson movie if that means it will be an awesome movie that will get a lot of people reading the books. Same with Magyk. I think when they rush the movie (for example, Twilight) then it's not as good as it could have been and completely ruins the book's potential for a good movie.

Okay, I'm fine that they're waiting to do Magyk but that means that we have to wait while the 6th Harry Potter movie is in theaters. And they probably will wait for the 6th one to come out. And finally when the 7th one comes out to theaters we have to wait until the 7th one comes to DVD. I can wait it's just...that long.

yeah, but im not so sure if magyk would transfer well into a movie, there's not too much action well there is but a lot of special effects needed and most of the story is a back story

you really need to know what the character is thinking that's hard to do in movies

i dont know it is kinda complicated for a movie and it is long so they would have to cut a lot out

But they don't cut much out of the Harry Potter movies really and those books are long.

the last one was terrible they cut out so much of it they didn't even have quittich ( i dont know how to spell it)

there was nothing the entire movie about quittich and it is awesome. they turned the longest book into the shortest movie. There were so many funny parts that got cut out because some screenwriter disdn't feel like writing it.

Oh, well...then the screenwriter is stupid.

I hope that when they do do Magyk as a movie that they don't have that screenwriter. By the way who is going to be the screenwriter for Magyk??
