I am releasing my full part 1 of 4 memoir December 1st. I originally did not use my first name in my story out of fear that my emotions would play a part in my content, and have realized that my emotions NEED to play a part in my content :)
Will changing the main characters name (Bella) to Elizabeth (AKA me) confuse the readers who have read Fifteen &...what!? or will it allow the readers to develop a better sense of involvement? Thank you!

I personally feel that staying true to the main character's name in the book (Bella) is very important when dealing with an installment. If reader's want to continue reading they will already be emotionally involved with Bella..hence the decision to KEEP reading about her and rooting for her. :)
Perhaps an author's note elaborating on your feelings that you posted here would be beneficial to fans of the story/book AND for you too?
