" Court will now commence. " The female judge declared slamming her hand on the desk. The defendant was a suspicious looking 45 year old man named Marcus Dille, and the prosecutor was a young woman about 22 years old named Moa Hugh. Virgo strolled in her back straight taking a seat at the front of the trial room. She stared into the eyes of the defendant and leaned back in her chair. Another one was next to her reserved for another Zodiac. Apparently the man was accused of setting this woman's house on fire and threating to kill her. Twice.

Pisces had shifted back into his regular form at a water source near the Castle. He brushed his hands across his clothes, flicking away nonexistent dust particles. He strolled into the side of the Court Room as soon as the announcement had been made. Inconspicuously, he strode over to a reserved seat in front of the trial room beside Virgo.

Honestly Virgo was scared of this trial. She reached over and took Pisces hand. " The defendant may speak." Virgo said watching the man stand up and state that he was falsely accused. He expressions looked genuine but the glint in his eyes showed something different. Virgo shifted uncomfortably in her seat.

Pisces looked at the man with scrutinizing eyes. He squeezed Virgo's hand tenderly, observing the man's actions and listening to his words. By his tone of voice, he sounded like he had memorized this whole speech and was reading it off his hand. Narrowing his eyes at the man, Pisces shook his head so discreetly that only Virgo could see it.

Virgo's expression turned cold and hard. In the middle of the man's sentence she cut him off. "That's enough." she snapped. The man turned to her. "You shut the hell up!" He yelled getting close to the front of the room where she was seated. Virgo squeezed Pisces hand harder, with slight fear of what this man can do.

Pisces stood up quickly from his seat. A gasp from the audience came as they recognized another Original Zaodiac at the trial. "How dare you speak to her that way? She is your benevolent ruler and this is how you treat her?" Pisces snapped with a stoic expression.

Virgo made a pained face as the man knocked over a chair yelling profanities then slamming the door shut. The prosecutor flinched at the sound, trembling.

There was a rumble through the crowd as everyone was concerned about what the accused man might do. Pisces took his seat again, a sneer on his face.

Virgo looked at Pisces with a terrified look on her face. She closed her eyes and spoke up again. "Moa Hugh, you may speak." She said as the young woman rose from her seat. "Um, e-exactly t-three weeks a-ago this m-man threatened to k-kill me. A-after a few days I-I was in
m-my r-room, a-and I-i smelled s-smoke." Moa started staring at the ground. It was obvious she spoke with a stutter. Virgo' s eyes were still closed as she listened.

Pisces observed the terrified woman with the same scrutiny as the man. He found she was incredibly nervous unlike the smug man who had been in front of them earlier. She seemed sincere so far as he watched her with an emotionless facade.

When Moa was finished the judge demanded a recess. Virgo sighed a huff of relief when all the people filed out of the room. "Oh god I hate trials. That man looked like he was about to punch my in the face." She said exasperated. Slumping over she looked over at Pisces with a pained looked. This was really getting to her.

Pisces scooted his seat next to hers. He watched her with a concerned expression across his face. "Was there a trial last time? They said he threatened her twice right?" He spoke in a soft and soothing voice, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her into a hug. He rubbed small circles on her hip as a comforting gesture.

She sucked in a breath and let it out. Resting her head on his shoulder she replied " He was in this court several times already for other crimes that I would preferably not mention." her voice was slightly muffled as she spoke.

"Why hasn't he been charged already then?" Pisces frowned, his eyebrows furrowing downward. It made him bristle knowing a vile man like him was walking the streets in his girlfriend's kingdom.

Virgo looked up at him. " Have you seen how flawlessy he recited his speech? He's rich and has ties with people. I guess now that you and I were here he snapped under pressure." She mumbled. " I haven't really heard of him until his 5th trial." She added quietly.

"He's really serious then." Pisces muttered, a faraway look in his eye. He could remember a case he had been called in for. The accused was driven out of the kingdom and the victim had slowly grown mental and suicided.

She held him a little bit tighter. " Thanks for sticking up for me." Virgo said quietly. "If you didn't do that he probably would have done something bad." She said mumbling the last part under her breath.

Pisces smiled sadly, holding her closer. He kissed the top of her head tenderly. "Don't worry now. The guards will get him back here and it is up to us now? This many trials call for an immediate sentence." He recalled from the rule book.

" Yeah....but...can we try to refrain to doing anything too serious? I mean nothing too bad. " she said asked in a sort of pleading tone. Virgo always believed in second chances so she believes that man should be punished, but not too harshly.

"The choice is yours. It is your kingdom." He pointed out with a sigh. He didn't like this man at all but his carefree personality caused him to fall to her wishes.

Virgo gave him a happy peck on the lips. She leaped up and opened the doors. " Reccess is over. " She announced. The people filed in again hesitant. Virgo gave everyone a wide smile. But before she could give her final sentence the man dropped to his knees pleading her not to banish him from the kingdom. "I've got a wife and two kids at home." He said his expression sincere, his eyes pleading.

Pisces watched from the front of the room with interest. The man was on his knees, begging no less! If this was all an act, he was actually rather impressed. It disgusted him that someone might do that but to pull of the ultimate scam like that was brilliant.

Virgo helped the man back up on his feet. "I am not going to banish you. Instead you will serve 40 years in prison and then 2 years in mental therapy. I wish you all my luck." Virgo said. Then to the surprise of everyone she hugged the sinister man. Letting go she told the guards to make sure the handcuffs were not too tight. Waving to the man as he left she smiled. Justic was served.

Pisces suppressed a smile as Virgo hugged the accused man. He looked almost relieved when his sentence was revealed. Who wouldn't be? No one wanted to be banished from their kingdom; it was the ultimate embarrassment and no one wanted to be one of them, the banished.

Virgo waved to everyone as they left then turned to Pisces. "Was that too harsh?" She said quietly walking over to sit on his lap.

He chuckled, wrapping his arms around her waist possessively. "No, he deserves it. He's done a lot but you've lessened his load which makes you a pure and brilliant person." Pisces brushed his lips against hers.

Virgo shrugged giving him a soft kiss then pulling away. "Eh, that wasn't really brilliant." she replied softly leaning her forehead against his.

"I don't know what I would have done in your place but I know sure as hell that it wouldn't be that. You are brilliant." He repeated, twisting his hand in her hair.

She smiled. "Your making me seem like I'm a saint. " Virgo said slipping her arms around his neck giggling a little.

"You are one to me and to your kingdom." Pisces kissed her lips softly. He pulled her closer to his chest, his other hand drifting down her hair and pushing on her back.

Virgo smiled in the kiss, loving the way he spoke to her. It made her feel all nice inside.

Pisces gentle hands left traces in her hair and on her back, his lips leaving hers sore.
