I'm writing a book called Frost, which is the first in a series about the Norse myths around Jack Frost, Father Frost, Niflehiem, and the other realms of winter and heat :)Writing is going awesome! In 5 days I've gotten to 15k :D
Oh that sounds fascinating Tabi.As of last night (Nov. 8) I am somehow 30K into my novel that started out as a friend's webcomic about a genetic anomaly where people start turning into animals and their trials and tribulations. I have no idea how I've been able to do 30K already considering my struggles with previous NaNos but I'm not complaining.
Hi everyone, Dennis here. As you can guess I'm new to this wonderful group. I've got a couple Nanowrimo events under my belt, most recently April's camp nano. Delighted to get to know you all. =D
Same as any other Nanowrimo event, expect it's a bit more relaxed with a flexible word count goal. I managed to hit a lofty 75k words myself this time.
Hello! I am a two time NaNo-er and was looking for a writing/book group to share my experience with. How's everybody doing? Anyone participating in Camp in July?
I was going to participate in July, even had it on my calendar, and still missed it somehow! (shakes head at herself.) But I am planning on Nanowrimo this year. I am beginning to mull, and hoping to get a good idea for something new soon, so I can actually be prepared this year.
I have failed miserably every year since I started, and believe it's mainly because I'm not prepared with outlines, turns and twists, etc. I'm a pantser, and that doesn't work out. I cringe at all the unfinished stories and ideas on my computer, much less starting a new one :).
Here's to getting a good idea soon :).
