plus something has to happen with her fortune, it seems to simple, like dimitiri's wasn't predictable (well not to me, haha)
as long as she doesnt kill him and they end up together i'll be happy
anyway.. we don't even know what happened to him for sure, he could have gotten away?
let us pray ;) haha
yes, but there is alot a good chance he's not...
I just can't wait!!!!
Lol.
Dimitri...he's...too much of a fav charactor...I hope richelle knows that...if she doesn't..something...bad...might happen.

hahaha
i know its really unlikely that he's not, but like you said, hes basically one of everyones favorite characters
so even if he is strigoi, she couldn't possibly kill him, she probably has some great twist up her sleave :D
woo, cant wait!

like all those things at the end saying how much adrian likes her
it would be pretty bad for him if dimitri and her did get together, but then again it would be worse if they didnt..
it will probably be in the last book when they finally get together

like right now,
yeaaah that would be good haha
and i want them to just live happily ever after in book 4, not have to wait for the next ones too.. ah :( lol
It wouldn't be unheard of to kill off a character as popular as Dimka. It can be a tool for character development, personality buiding. There's so many possibilities for Richelle to use.
Look at the way Dimka was after his charge was killed and he was sent to the Academy and became Lissa's guardian. How he showed regret, how he always lectured Rose and brought it up. This could happen to Rose. It wouldn't be the first time an author used another character's backstory as foreshadowing for the main character. Richelle already paralleled part of Lissa and Rose with Vladimir and Anne, drawing back on it as reference for the characters to discover, to learn more about what's happening to them. But she also started emphasizing the differences, how things could be better if they tried, that they weren't locked into fate.
In Berserk, a heavy theme was on Causality, and Fate, and how it was cyclical and drew new players into the game, to repeat itself. That if one's will was strong enough, they'd break out of the cycle of Causality, and define their own destiny.
The Troy Games series had a similar concept of Causality, and being driven in an endless circle, like 'Hate begets Hate'.

In the Final Fantasy 7 game years ago, Aeris, the popular character, pivotal to the questing group, the story revolved heavily on her, she was the main character's love interest, to give him focus, not to mention the most powerful. And boom halfway in she gets killed off by the enemy, to motivate him harder, and make him slightly emotionally/mentally unbalanced to cope with it. Sadly, he was comforted by someone who had a crush on him but kept her distance while Aeris was alive.
I love books. Good authors. Good writing styles. Good character development. Backstory, foundation, lore, different character perspectives.

I think that she'll fight Dimka but she'll falter because she's like IN LOVE with him. Either that or she'll fight him but won't kill him until the 5th book. I also heard that she might be preggers because that would add a really interesting twist to the plot. Maybe she'll like look for her dad so that he can help. Or or she'll like kill Dimka, sh has to kill him that's what he would want. Maybe shell give up in the 4th book, go back to the Academy give Adrian a chance and like maybe he'll help her because he's like that or she'll fight him in the 4th book like I said then in the 5th book maybe seeing her again can like un-strigoi him and they live happily ever after. But knowing Richelle that won't happen maybe he'll "awaken" her in the 5th book. OK so tell me what you think.
P.S.
I'm hysterical right now
