He wraps his arms around her again
"It's my job to make sure you feel perfectly comfortable. Ok?"

she nods and rests her head on his shoulder

"Are you cold?" He asks as a breeze pick up

she nods. "A little."

"Here this will help." He said and transformed into his wolf form and curled himself around her so that she was laying against his lower side and his head rested in her lap

she snuggled up to him, petting from softly

As they laid there just enjoying the peace and quiet dagger heard a familiar voices coming towards the river from the direction of the town "can you hear that?" He asked mimic

she nods swiftly. " The wind carries the voices."

"Let's check it out. Here get on my back" he growled and sniffed the wind
"I smell something burnt?"

she frowns. "Do I have to?" she looks at him, her head stil nestled in his fur.

"Yes I want to make sure we stick together"

She sigs and slowly gets up, then looks at him. " What do you smell, exactly?"

"It smells like burnt... Oh sh!t! They're coming after us!"

"What do you mean?" she says, before she realizes what he is talking about. She turns in the direction the voices were coming from and closes her eyes. "I think they are about a quarter mile away, but coming fast." she says and looks at him, fear in her eyes. "What are we going to do?"

"Once we get within a half mile of them get off my back and into a tree ill position myself on the other side of their path. Oh and how strong can you get your wind to be?

((I mean 6th of a mile not half my bad))

"Stronger than Hurricane Katrina." she says and nods.

"Cool, when you get into the trees pull down a tornado right on top of them and lift them up into the tallest tree you can put them in! And then I'll make a ring of fire at the base so they won't even think about coming down." He grinned

She rolled her eyes a little, but smiled. "That's a little extreme."

"There's cell service they'll be fine"

She nods again and gets up to find a high tree..

"Get In the tree they're only like 100 yards out

She uses her winds to lift her up, though shakily so. Once she is in the tree she finds a well hidden limb and prepares herself.

He crouches down behind a nearby boulder and waits

The guys stroll along, their burns prominent as they mutter and curse among themselves. Mimic hold her breath, tempted to squeeze her eyes shut.

Dagger looked at mimic and mouthed the word "now!"

She nodded and looked back to the creeps, her eyes dimming as the wind picked up. The group stilled as the breeze swept their hair aside, right before slamming them to the ground and lifting them high in the air.

Dagger leapt out from behind the rock and into the air as his fur turned to flame. As he passed them he snarled and whipped his body around to land facing them while simultaneously changing back, still flaming

She squeeks a little and almost falls out of the tree in her surprise.

He quickly encircled the tree the three men were in in flames and runs back and leaps into the tree to sweep mimic off her feet and landing back on the ground with her princess style in his arms

She squeaks and uses her winds to put his fire out.

"Sorry I didn't realize I was still flaming"

She giggles a little. "Its ok."

"You must admit that was smooth."

She laughs. "Ok, ya it was pretty smooth."

"Let's get out of here before they can do anything about it."

She nods and wriggles to get free of his arms.

"I just realized you haven't shown my how fast you can run or maybe fly? Race ya to the town!" He says springing into wolf form

She sighs. "Just because I'm a wind element, every one thinks I can fly." she says and breaks into a run, floating over a few minor bumps in the road.

He sprints after her dodging trees and boulders with ease

She continues, floating over a river.

He brakes into an all out sprint leaping clear over the river

She has to slow down to catch her breath.

He comes back to her changing into his original form and hugs her tight.

She hugs him for a sec, before pushing him away slightly to catch her breath more.

"You ok?" He asks rubbing her back

"Ya." she says and smiles at him. "I'm just not super human like you, so don't have the same stamina."
