BJ (GoodreadscomLilcLdy57) | 5 comments I'm in. I didn't do so well this year. I got bogged down in library books. This year I'm going to try to get some read off my shelves, my Nook, and my Kindle. I'm going to start with this level. Hopefully, I'll "climb" a little higher as the year progresses. Thanks for doing this. Having it here on Goodreads makes it so much easier!

Welcome Back! Hopefully last year will serve as a practice run and you'll be in good shape for your climb in 2014!

BJ (GoodreadscomLilcLdy57) | 5 comments I've decided that I truly am a book "addict." I should have realized when my sister, having seen my car in the parking lot of a busy mall told her ride that shd just go in and find me. Her friend asked her how and she replied she'd only have to check the book store. It doesn't matter how many books I have, I can never resist a book sale, a used book store or free books for my Nook and Kindle! I actually checked tonight, the numbers. I have a book shelf with 198 paperbacks and 32 hardbacks, there are 236 books on my Kindle and 626 on my Nook. Last year I read so manybooks from the library, that I hardly made a dent at all in my TBR pile. This year I'm going to try harder, but considering I read about 150-160 books per year and I order a freebie or 2 almost every day, I don't think I'll be clearing off any shelves any time soon!

I know what you mean. My weakness is used bookstores and our annual Red Cross Book Sale--I walk out of that one every October with anywhere from 50-80 new-to-me books.

BJ (GoodreadscomLilcLdy57) | 5 comments Rearranging my book shelves again, getting ready for 2014! And can't resist buying a few more free or cheap ebooks for my Nook/Kindle, because of course, I have nothing to read!!!

BJ (GoodreadscomLilcLdy57) | 5 comments I read for pure pleasure, so I don't have any copies of War and Peace or Crime and Punishment in my TBR piles, but I do have some classics on my Nook that I always wish I had read like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Journey to the Center of the Earth, War of the Worlds and the Wizard of Oz books, so I think I may read a few of these along with some of my favored mysteries from my shelves for this challenge. Happy climbing everyone!
