Alan and Aquarius, with their new invisibility, walked hand in hand to the orchards of the Gemini kingdom. "These are quite beautiful."
Aquarius looked around the orchard, noticing other people look right past them. Incredible. She looked at the height of the trees and smirked. "Thank goodness for your height because there's no way I'd be able to reach those." She nodded towards the never ending patch of trees.
"I can give you a boost," Alan grinned down at her. He looked at the people around them and shook his head. "I still can't believe Libra did this for us. Do you think any of the other originals would be so understanding?" He wished for it but knew that the odds of everyone accepting it were slim to none.
She leaded him to pick up a basket. Picking one up, she shook her head. "No way. I don't think you realize how scared I got when I saw Libra. The worst possible thoughts passed my mind."
He walked with her and nodded. "Yeah, same here." He sighed and rubbed a stressed hand through his hair. "Still, it'd be nice if they did. Why isn't it allowed? Are villagers not good enough?" He frowned and looked around.
She looked quickly at him. "No no. That's not it at all. Well, I'm not sure. I mean, they want us to avoid any intimate relationships in general. It avoids hurting anyone or ya know, creating mixed children. They'd prefer the future generations to be pure blooded."
"I think it should be our choice," he said walking over to a tree with shiny, red apples all over the leaves. "I don't agree with it." He reached up to an apple over his head and plucked it.
"If I had known all villagers were as great as you, I would've made the extra time to be at the café." She smirked. "But I wouldn't go pressing our luck with all of the originals. Libra'a acceptance is one thing, but I'm not sure association between villagers and originals is a topic I'd love to bring up at a meeting." Aquarius plucked a red apple off of a low hanging branch and placed it in her basket.
"I understand that," he put his apple in her basket and smiled slightly. "Well, it's still great. I hear that forbidden love is the best kind." He chuckled and stood in front of her. He put his hands on her hips and smiled. "I enjoy apple picking with you."
She turned to face him and chuckled. "It's definitely the most fun and interesting." Aqua leaned back slightly against the tree they were picking apples from. "I'm enjoying it with you too.
"Oh, yes," he grinned and pushed back some of her hair. "You know, I heard of an old legend of these orchards once. People said that the reason why they were named the Golden Apple Orchards is because every once in a while an apple, of a pure gold color, pops up in one of the trees. It's said to give you wealth, peace, and happiness. Also, it's supposed to be the tastiest apple ever." He kissed the tip of her nose.
Aquarius blushed slightly at his touch. "Well, it's very tempting to find this legendary apply, but you know, wealth comes with being an Original. The peace is the inner peace I already have knowing the citizens of my kingdom live joyfully and well, you make me happy. In other words, I have everything I already need." She gave him a slight smile before leaning forward and giving him a small kiss on the lips.
"Ah, yes, but wouldn't you want the tastiest apple?" Alan smiled and kissed her lips gently. "I'm glad I make you happy because you really make me happy." He rubbed his nose across her cheek and kissed her jawline. "Want a boost?" He pulled back to look at her and patted his shoulder.
She bit her lip and felt herself blush even more than she had previously. "Well, I'd let you take the first bite." She chuckled lightly as her eyes went a little wide. "Seriously? I mean, I'm kind of heavy." Aqua cocked an eyebrow with a smile on her face.
Libra sat, waiting. Watching. The past tense of regret is indecision , she concluded. I really have to stop listening to Welcome To Night Vale...
"You are not heavy!" Alan laughed and picked her up by her hips. He twirled her a little bit to help make his point. "See?" He grinned and sat her down.
She laughed as he twirled her around. "Alright, alright." She linked her hands behind his neck and smiled.
"They should have ladders here," Alan smiled. He leaned forward to kiss her softly and looked around when he heard a strange noise. "What was that?"
Aquarius smiled softly back at him until she heard the same noise. She looked around quickly, squinting her eyes. "I'm not sure." She said slowly.
He let go of her and looked at the people around them, picking apples. "No one can see us, right? Maybe it's nothing to worry about," he said before slipping his arms back around her.
She shook her head cautiously. "No one seems to see us." With her heart beating a little quicker she half smiled up at him. "Yeah. Nothin to worry about." She leaned into his embrace.
"Well, after we get done apple picking, what would you like to do, your majesty?" He chuckled slightly and played with some of her hair, gently tugging it through his fingers and grinning down at her.
Aqua scrunched up her nose at the word. "No majesty today. But maybe the beach? It's lovely weather." She gave him a small, warm smile.
Her smile made his smile double in size. The beach sounded beautiful and peaceful. It would be nice, especially with Aquarius. "Okay. I love the beach."
She chuckled a little and then looked up. She picked a low hanging apple on a branch above her. Sprinkling some water and cleaning it, she took a bite of it. "Well," Aqua said chewing her apple, "I think we're done here"
"And the picking just started," Alan shook his head and pouted a bit, in a teasing mannor. "All right, do you want to head down to the beach? We're going to have a sandcastle war."
"We'll take some for the walk back. Here," she pointed, "that one looks nice." She chuckled a bit. "And yea. We'll have to stop by the palace first for some beach gear. I don't think these boots are gonna cut it."
He looked up and pulled down the apple she had pointed at. He figured he should grab a few more and pulled down the brightest ones. "The palace? I've never been to the palace. This should be exciting," he looked down at her boots and gave a sly smile, "and yeah, I don't think those will do well in the sand."
Munching on her apple. "What do you have against my boots? I think they make me look tough." She chuckled while covering her mouth a bit. "
"It's not me that has something against your boots. It's the sand," he laughed and looked around. "Come on. Let's get to the palace. I keep worrying about this invisibility. How long does it last?"
She took his hand into hers. "I wish I knew. I honestly keep forgetting about it. I'll have to ask Libra as soon as possible."
"I just don't want us to get caught and you get in trouble. Me? I think they might take it easy on me, but even if they didn't, you getting punished would be punishment enough for me," he smiled a small smile down at their hands and rubbed his thumb against hers.
Aqua turned over to look up at him. "I'm not letting anything happen to you. We'll be safe once we reach the palace. Servants have a thing for respecting privacy. It tends to come in handy when I need it to." She shrugged.
"I think I'm supposed to take care of you," Alan looked into her eyes and put one finger on her cheek and rubbed in a curved motion down to her chin. "Then let's get going."
Aqua blushed red and quickly put her head down in an attempt to hide it. "We'll take care of each other." She said, shrugging, with a hidden smile. "Yeah. Let's go."
((Setting things up for other groups. So, I'm going to be slow))
Alan grinned at the small flash of red that had painted her cheeks. "Okay," he turned to start walking, but before they walked too far off, he reached up and picked a big, red apple from a low-hanging limb.

((It's all good. I'm just excited for Andrew and Violet lol and do you want me to post at the palace?))
((I KNOW! ME TOO!!!! :DDD and yes, ma'am. That would be lovely.))
