Pride and prejudice, Wuthering Heights, The Importance of being Earnest, Naruto, Sense and Sensibility, Sailor Moon, Great Expectations!!! (Pippidy pip pip!!!- if anyone gets the reference, etc. (too many :D)

I like Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice & Sense and Sensibility because these novels express the very peak of feminism. They totally engulf what the young girls of the 1800's wanted to get off their chests. It revealed how they truly felt and they were given a voice - a beautiful one of vast expression and eloquence ~ much like Jane Austen's writing. So expressive.

I loved Wuthering Heights! It was oh so practical in the sense that it's themes displayed themselves in a realistic sort of way. SO enticing. At first my favorite character was Heathcliff - then it switched to Nelly. And then at the end - I hadn't one favorite. For something to be able to play with my emotions like that- I'd give it a huge thumbs up.

The importance of being Earnest was so funny I loved it ! that's all I can say...Algernon all the way!

Great Expectations was perfect- I only saw the movie! But the movie- the Sarah Phelps adaptation was great - loved it ! :D

Naruto and Sailor moon, along with other manga, are just breathtaking- I loved them so much. So creative and inspiring - Sailor moon is such a child hood manga for me :)

Yup that be it.....

Sierra July (sierrajuly) | 2 comments With you @Anna, I love YA books! I'm also a fan of the classics, especially those involving animals. Namely, the Call of the Wild and Watership Down. My favorite modern adult books are The Help and The Night Circus.
