Eric led Ariel into the library and headed over to a large bookshelf. "There are quite a few books on dragons and other creatures but I have to find them." He said picking up a random book.
Eric walked around grabbing all different books about myths and legends. "You know I thought you were a myth before I met you." He called over to her.
"I thought they only sang to lure fishermen to their deaths." He said chuckling. "I know better now." He said walking back over to her.
He smiled. "Well now I know." He said bending down to place a soft kiss on her lips. He set his books on the table and sat down.
He blinks up at her and smiles. "And what do you think you're doing up there." He teased. He placed his hands on either side of her hips.
"Why are you sitting on the table?" He asked feigning disapproval. He reached up and poked her nose.
"You could always sit on my lap." He said his eyes twinkling. He patted his leg motioning for her to sit.
His arms came around her. "I found a couple books on dragons." He said reaching for one of them and flipping it open to a picture of a majestic dragon.
"I'm not sure. This may just be how they think they look or it could be how they really are." He said shrugging and turning another page.
Her hair tickled his chin. He moved her hair over one shoulder and kissed the side of her neck. "What myths have you heard?" He asked like everything was normal.
"Which ones do you know?" He asked smiling slightly. He knew he had affected her and loved that she tried to hide it.
Eric nodded. "I know about them too." He pulled another book over to them and opened it. It showed a picture of the Fae.
"It's the real form of the Fae." He said. "Most people think of them as small human like creatures when in reality they're more powerful than us all."
He laughed. "I doubt they would even know. It's said that they live in another realm protected by their magic from other beings."
"There are some who are but most aren't." He said smiling. "They all have imprints of magic on them that makes them look strange."
He leaned forward resting his chin on her shoulder. "Definitely not." He said. "I told you most of these weren't correct."
He kisses her jaw. "I told you." He said smiling. He pulled another book towards them and opened it to a random page.
"They're elves." He said before turning the page. "And these are pixies. Most people get them mixed up."
He glanced at her from the corner of his eye and smiled. "There are so many myths its hard to keep track of them all." He said. He liked the way she felt in his arms.
"That I do." He said with a chuckle. "Is there anything else you would like to read? Or would you like a better tour of the castle?"
He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her back. He was a little surprised when she kissed him. She didn't normally initiate the kisses.
He grinned down at her. "Well that was a pleasant surprise." He said trying to catch his breath. He placed another soft kiss on her lips before pulling back and standing. "Ready for the tour?"
He shakes his head smiling. He took her hand and led her out of the library. "What do you want to see first?"
